Re: More NCAA Football 11 Detailed Information (Tradition Football)
I know the chew clock is inb the demo. But do both teams run it all game long like it appears in the demo? That would be a big improvement. If it did that and we had an option of how much time it takes off, then I would be happy. A 7 second runoff is not enough for me. I am happy it runs all game long now in the demo, but I would like it to be 20 seconds and when in conservative moide it takes off 25 seconds. We need options for that.
Example
Chew Clock Normal - 20
Chew Clock Conservative - 25
Chew Clock Aggressive - 10
If we had those options it would definitely satisfy me for this year.“No one is more hated than he who speaks the truth.”

I thought you had to hit a button last year to activate Chew Clock. In the demo, it does it automatically. So there's a big difference right there.
EDIT: Pays to actually read the article firstI think grouping it with the strategy settings should work great as long as the CPU uses it too. And I don't mind it running off too much clock. The more clock, the better if you ask me.

Re: More NCAA Football 11 Detailed Information (Tradition Football)
As a str8 up USER v CPU dynasty guy (slider adjustments)....Looks like i/we will have to gimp ourselves again. IF...IF...The AI can be abused AGAIN by slants and posts, i will have to continue using ASK COACH and ONLY select the 1 play given (sometimes the other 2).
Hope that can be fixed with sliders....Like someone said already...120 ways to win, but 3-4 ways to pass...That could be quite discouraging.
I am still optimistic though....

Theres a lot more ways to pass. I can throw just about any route in the demo. The out route is probably my favorite route. I have thrown more TDs on out routes than any other route.
I don't know if you guys are not calling good plays, reading the coverage or what, but every route is able to be used if you know football basics.“No one is more hated than he who speaks the truth.”

Is it really that hard to put an accelerated clock in the game like the one Madden has?

Re: More NCAA Football 11 Detailed Information (Tradition Football)
While huddling:
The play clock will skip down to 29s when you get to play selection. This is not chew clock.
If you want to chew the clock, set tempo to conservative. With conservative tempo, after you choose your play, the play clock skips down to 10s. This is like the chew clock in '10.
With no huddle:
The play clock does not skip down to 29s when choosing your play. You can snap the ball with 35s remaining on the play clock if you're fast enough.
I'm not sure how conservative tempo works with no huddle, but I'd assume it would do nothing.Favorite Teams:
