Re: Your E3 NCAA Football 11 Questions: Round One
In the demo, I've noticed field wear, albeit at the beginning of the game, lol.....
-Will uniforms also wear and show some dirt or whatever?
-Is there a pretty good halftime show? How about National Championship celebrations/trophy presentation? Will it be worth the effort to win it all?
Thanks...Comment

1. Are Pro-Tak and sideline catches different than in the demo? If so how? More frequent?
2. What's with the sliding and lack of foot planting?Comment

Closing this thread to get questions and answers together. I don't have answers for everything (we could only do so much on the floor), but I will answer what I can.Comment

Re: Your E3 Questions - Round 1
Yes, you can. Matter of fact, with the online dynasty interface on the website, there is no real need to do an offline dynasty anymore.Comment

There are about 30 or so "Specific" team entrances for the most popular teams. Outside of that, you get a couple random generic entrances.Comment

Re: Your E3 Questions - Round 1
Is the final build going to have broken zone coverages like in the demo? Its the same problem we have seen for years, when the ball is on a hash the defensive secondary has a tendency to cover spots on the field that are not based on the actual positions of the WRs. The hook zones are borked on this demo. I have had mutiple instances of throwing deep pases against the AI in which the deep cover man in zone is clueless on the football field as to where his man is. The new locomotion system is benefical and more realistic, but has changed the reaction time and cutting ability of cpu controlled AI DBs in a negative fashion. Unreal reaction times prevented big plays from happening in the secondary, now they are ubiquitous. 10 was more balanced in the defense/offense offsetting one another, I hope this demo is an early build because the gameplay reminds me of 09's scorefest. This demo has huge issues with streak routes, and honsetly pass defense as a whole is broken as is.
Zones are better than in the demo, but still not 100%. I still notice linebackers in zones with a man right in front of them allowing the guy to stand open. That being said, this can be fixed with the gameplan, and I noticed more of an effect on the defense when changing it.
I'm still not happy with DB/WR play, but good WR's do tend to beat DB's more from what I could tell, which is better than last year. The WR/DB play doesn't have the polish that Madden does this year, but it is better than 10.Comment

Re: Your E3 NCAA Football 11 Questions: Round One
Just a comment about the linemen sometimes missing blocks. Do we really want all linemen to execute every, single block? That's unrealistic the same as them missing obvious blocks. If they are making the obvious blocks and lesser rated linemen are missing more difficult ones then I'd say EA has tuned the blocking to what it should be. I know for one I don't want to see all the linemen making every block.Comment

It SEEMS like psychic defense is gone. I ran multiple 3-4 wide draws on 3rd down, and the defense spread out with me.Comment

To answer the presentation questions:
There are some more stat overlays, just not a ton. The biggest upgrades are the presence of ESPN banners/end of quarter images.
I didn't get a chance to see any of the dynasty presentation upgrades such as halftime shows, etc.Comment
