Why must we wait until Madden 2012 to get the career changes we want in a more modified Franchise and Supersstar mode, like how long have we been waiting for these changes. They should bring back the radio stations and newspapers for the franchise there's alot of things to include into these two modes.

Because it will take over a year of development time which is probably a good reason why there have not been massive changes to madden 11. Just be happy that they are making the changes. Late is better than never.
This should be great news. Sure they should of done it earlier but at least they are going to do it. Instead of treating it like great news a lot of people want to complain about it. -

Don't know if they will bring back anything old but they have the potential to add a lot of new. There are many things missing from a real life franchise that could add to the fun of playing a franchise. I guess time will tell. I think I will enjoy this years madden and I will be excited to see what the future brings.Comment

and we are only in year 6 of next-gen Madden...
its a good thing they passed on the franchise upgrades in the past because then we might've missed out on innovative things such as user lineman control, Madden IQ, player weapons, etc..you know, the important things this game couldnt possibly do without..:rollseyes:Last edited by tooldude79; 06-20-2010, 03:03 AM.Comment

Well according to several online publications and sources we won't get a new console until about 2015 or after. So Madden could theoretically have five good years left. So maybe Madden 12 will be the equivalent of Madden 05 on ps2. The peak and then every year after that is an improvement to make an awesome experience even better. Like Madden 06 to 11 on ps2. I doubt that Madden can go a whole console generation and not hit that sweet spot. I pray I'm not wrong anyway.Because I live in van down by the river...Comment

The wrench in all of this is the lack of a CBA between the league and the players.
How will things be when they finally do settle things?
Will there be a salary cap? I think so, but......
I know there will most likely be a rookie salary cap.
Now there is talk about 18 regular season game with only two pre-season games.
Alot of stuff to figure out for the NFL and then it passes on down the line to EA.
All I know is the I.R. should be fixed because that is a part that will not change. Someone get's injured and is done for the year, they go on I.R. & it free up a roster spot with some cap relief!

I did play a game of Madden 10 the other day. When it arrived at the main screen a questionaire popped up. EA wanted to know if I had player online franchise. My answer was NO!
Too me it's all about Offline Franchise mode. I have no time for nothing else.Comment

I don't know why some people are still getting mad about having to wait a extra year. Getting mad about it at this point in time ain't going to help much. Plus for them to give fans the deepest franchise mode ever. It is going to take all of next year to get it right. I can wait another year if that means we will get alot of the things in franchise mode we had in the past like owners mode. I can wait.

Man, for all my complaining about Madden - and there is much to complain about - one thing I will have to give massive credit for is the amount of depth in the features of the Franchise Mode. I love Madden's franchise mode.Comment
