Come on now, you have to admit this bolded statement is ridiculous.

Yeah it was!!! Funny how consoles BEFORE the current gen of games could do all the things most people are asking for and then some. But the Next Gen games, its impossible.
Makes you wonder if some of these guys played a game before 360 or ps3??
But if these guys attention spans are as long as their brains, i doubt it, cause the ps2 feels like an NES...

I don't play video games simply because they are 'fun'. I play them to put myself in a realistic situation that I normally would not be able to be in. I play Red Dead Redemption because I feel like I am actually THERE and in that world. It's believable. I play "Hardcore" mode on Call of Duty games because I want it to be the most realistic experience possible as if I was in that situation in real life.

I play Madden because I want to know what it's like to be a professional football player as well as a coach. I want to feel a small (very) part of what Peyton Manning feels when he lobs that perfect pass over the defender for a touchdown. Or how good the Ravens D feels when they swarm the ballcarrier and don't allow him to gain an inch... We need Madden to be as realistic as possible for this reason, because if it gives off the impression of being fake, I will lose interest and it will not seem real to me. I don't play video games just to "have fun". That's what the Wii is for.

You say you play games to be "there" right??
Cool, so when you play the Raiders in a season of Madden, do your raiders make the playoffs??
If they do, your playing FOR FUN because they are too awful to make the playoffs there for you are NOT playing realistically .. I love raider fans... i do..
Playing a video game is no where near knowing what its like to be a player or coach. get in shape, find a semi pro league in your area, put the pads on , and go to war. Same thing for coaching, we, as players are still dictating whats happening on the screen. The call of duty example I think you gonna have some war vets chew you out on that example. Dude there some guys who had AK 47 shells whiz within inches of there heads and if they hear you say something like that, you will get clowned mecifully. Not a good example dude...

apparently all the players legs move at the same time and at the same speed. All three playsers legs were teh same until the qb spun and messed it up.

Please stop with the "don't buy if you don't like it" crap. Unfortunately if someone wants an NFL game there's only one option, if that option is lacklustered then that is part of the reason why this forum is around, to voice concern. If it wasn't we'd be banned. Don't tell us because some pay for the game they should just shut up and take it. Then if someone points out flaws about the game but hasn't played it then people will pull ye ole "oh you haven't even played the game, so don't judge it unless you play it" mess so just stop with all that.

Where did I say if you buy it you should shut up. I'm saying if you do buy it, then you really shouldn't expect the game too change much from what you are complaining about because the only opinion they really care about is whether or not you are willing to spend your money on it. Som people seem to think that the devs care what we want, bottom line is they care about their bottom line. Do you think that the game would be in a different state right now if they didn't have the exclusive license and there was competition with other NFL licensed games? If you answered yes, then that should be enough proof to you that they don't care about what we want, they care about what we will pay for. That's why I said if you know of these issues and you buy the game why are you complaining? You've told them by your actions that the game is good enough to spend your money on. Complain all you want, just don't expect much to actually change if everyone continues to buy the game, I think the games on this gen are proof of that.
Anyways, this is why I usually don't post in response to these types of things. It's not worth getting upset over or arguing over. I apologize if anyone was upset by what I wrote. I think I'll go back to reading posts for the most part instead of posting posts.

I read that the Broncos only want to take 2 QB's into the season so unless Tebow gets 2nd string will he be on the opening roster maybe as a FB? I bet if he didnt make the roster EA still keeps him on there 53 man roster.

You read it wrong...

They will continue to carry just 2 QB's on the gameday roster as they (and all teams) always have.

The reason it is being brought up is because people were questioning McDaniels if he would break that mold and actually carry all three on the gameday roster in order to take advantage of Tebow's versatility.

I agree with your premise, but I think it's more the EA/Tib execs instead of the Devs. They may have been what you mean to say, or maybe not.

And, if you love NFL football and NFL football gaming, the choice you present, of just not buying, really isn't much of a choice. What I mean is, the choice really sucks.

Yeah this video just turned me off to buying this. It just looked kinda funny that the two lead blockers mirrored Tebow's movement, even when he spun they looked like they wanted to spin with him, LMAO. Regardless of the level and speed this stuff should not be.
