Boy, they did a really great job of making one of the best commentators in football sound like crap. I feel sorry for Gus Johnson. This game will do him no justice at all.

Aside from that, the halftime show? WTF? I'm going to give EA the benefit of the doubt, although they have done nothing to earn the benefit of doubt, that the final build would be so plain.

Game play does look better than Madden 10 though... slightly. I still feel like I'm going to be spending $60 on updated rosters, and things that could have been added via patch to Madden 10.

all the things you said are true to me i feel like i am paying 60 for a roster update once again which is sad and also i just feel bad for Gus Johnson because he really is a cool guy and stuff but he does not get anything but bad from doing stuff with madden and the half time show was just apthetic and sad ... they "PROMISED" that they where going to work on the halftime show but they ARE EA so you cant take much for there word .... i am pretty much hatting EA more and more and it is sad

This can't be the final version of the halftime show...

On a side note, in every interview I've seen with Ian he seems less than excited to be talking about the game, apathetic even...like he's just jumping through hoops.

i hope those vids were on the lower levels. man to man coverage looked terrible on some of those vids.

Do you think he's happy about the direction that Madden went this year? Last year he was ecsatic about Madden. This year hes very somber. I hope his days with madden aren't numbered.

The Vikings horn is in the game Thank You!!!!!! And they took the stupid tackle cut scene out when the players are falling to the ground. Not the tackle looks like a real football game.

WOW!!!..... the commentary and halftime show is amazing!..... its as though im watching a real game on tv... i honestly think they've reached a point where you cant tell thats its a video game that you're playing.... this game is worth more than $60.00, it should be at least $150.00 but im sure they care about us so much that they decided to accept a loss so that we could enjoy such an amazing game.... GREAT JOB EA!

i just dont understand why in head to head games they put both play call screens together in the middle of the screen.

not only does it totally block all of the cut scenes, but it makes it so easy to pick your play and see the plays you opponent is looking at as well.

The play call screens should be vertical on the far left, and far right..

Wait a second... I need to correct my previous post. I do remember now. At the time I just thought it was something still being worked on so I didn't think anything of it. I just figured it was Alpha stage stuff.

If that is what the final is going to be, well, that's just sad. They could've at least been creative with it... make a video room to choose highlights. Or do something where you pick the highlights and they get extracted directly from the game with Gus's commentary... something... anything... what I see right now just looks dead.
