I agree. I'm guessing this team will be pretty over rated in Madden until in-season roster updates

The only Ratings thats gonna change is Sanchez,Greene, and Keller gonna all go up

That's cos they got to the afc champ game. Doesn't seem to matter that they were an 8-8 team if the Colts didn't sub in there 2nd/3rd string in the reg season. The Jets stunk it up a lot last season but they were on sportscenter in the playoffs so they all get great ratings.
Other than their Oline and Revis, the rest of them sucked last year and the 8-8 record represents that not the playoff appearance via the backdoor.

Dont hate because they made it that far.. im guessing your team got knocked out...

Now that all the top 10 ratings have been released, pasta can stop beating around the bush and give people the ratings they have been waiting for outside of the top 10.

Oh, and it seems like EA Sports is hating on the Skins.

Peterson being a 98 is a joke....I guess fumbling doesn't decrease your stats.....also Willis being 3 points higher then Beason is laughable....Beason plays in a Tampa 2 system where he is asked to cover much more then Willis and their stats are pretty comparable.....

hey u guys gota stop being shocked at jim leonard at 85 overall thats where he should be. im a jets fan and i had no clue who he was when he came over here but having revis island allowed us to blitz him every play and he delivered in the rungame as well as the intermediate pass game. hes one of my favorite players. best role player in the league but he wont have that title for long.

Naw, I'd give it to Revis for this year. I'd say they were both about equal in coverage last year, but Revis had waaaay more picks that Nnamdi. That has to count for something.

Disagree, at least with reasoning. Don't forget that Revis also plays on a Rex Ryan defense which blitzes a lot more, causing havoc and errant throws. Teams very rarely throw at Namdi anymore, making it hard to measure his impact on picks. In both cases, measuring their impact on INTs is faulty, as their biggest contribution comes from limiting the opposing WRs production, not forcing turnovers.

Beason is good no doubt...but anyone will tell you Willis is hands down the best MLB in the NFL!

I'm seeing tons of love for the Jets there.

The Jets will be absolute hell to play online..if the slow WR releases, coverage warping and magic teleporting powers of DBs of Madden 10
exists.

I love the Jets and all, but Leonhard is an 85? Does this mean that Im going to be able to cover pro bowl TE's man to man with him? LOL


This is EA at its best. Rather then make a excellent defensive unit, play together as a unit, and program the schemes to operate properly, based on their strengths..lets go and overrate every player on that unit.

Revis, Harris and Jenkins are fine..but I am willing to guarantee that the rest of the players will be severly overrated, because that's how EA decides to represent a #1 rated defense.


He's not a Jet anymore, thank god, but I remain absolutely amazed at how Kerry Rhodes consistantly gets rated so high...each and every year.

Yeah I don't agree with alot of them but I guarentee if Beason and Willis were rated the same or if Peterson was lower than 2nd best rb there would be a far bigger fuss. They give ratings the casual fan will agree with.
I would love if they scaled tham back. Shouldn't be so many 97-99's. If A.Johnson is 98 then J.Rice would have to have been 110.
