How many Pats games do you watch a year?? He cuts on a dime he makes the best LB and S miss on almost every play. He can stretch the field with the best of them.. The guy is a beast and should get more credit as one of the elite WR in the NFL

Re: Madden NFL 11 Player Ratings: Top 10 WR's
Only 3-4 WRs (hell any position for that matter) should have ratings higher than 95+.....Then the next highest should be mid to high 80's...Love MOSS, but he should be no higher than a 88 same with a few others on that list. Not enough seperation....Thats whay thye all feel the same...Oh well.
But i am someone who feels the 'stretched' ratings should be even more, meaning an avergae NFL player at any position should be like a 63-68 ovr.Comment

Re: Madden NFL 11 Player Ratings: Top 10 WR's
yes but look where he catches those balls. Screens, drags, short ins and outs....he is by far the best short ball WR in the game, he has a little med game but very little deep game....put almost any other WR on that list and throw them bubble screens and drags and they will be right next to him in catches to imo anywayComment

VJ is better than Marshall in a number of catagories

You have to be kidding. Welker without Randy Moss would be laughable. I don't understand all this Roddy White hate. Roddy White is a monster.Prototype Supreme

Most hate on Roddy cause they dont know who he is....I remember when the ratings for M09 came out, thats when a ton of uproar was going on....Roddy is a top 8 WR in the NFL and he has been the last 3 years, since he was a starter for ATL..I would put roddy's skills vs any WR in the league...he does everything great, not just a few things here and there. I hope after this year people will give him his dueComment

I love Ocho, but I don't know how he cracks the top 10 over Marques Colston who is nowhere to be found.

I agree VJ needs a higher rating 93ish, but Marshall has the edge when comparing the two.
And last season Moss clearly had the better season. actually since White burst onto the scene 3 years ago, moss bested him 2 of the 3 seasons with his one down year being when Cassel started.Comment

One Steve Smith was 2nd in catches, 4th in yards, and a rising star, with hes first pro bowl in his 3rd year.
The other is a former great who hasn't had a great season in years, and my be done with hes 2nd broken arm in 8 months.
Which should be more effective in Madden11?Comment

Re: Madden NFL 11 Player Ratings: Top 10 WR's
CAR. Steve Smith is still one of the best WR in the league. check out his stats. If he had half of a QB last season he would have put up comparable numbers to NYG Smith. With That, if NY Smith has another season this year similar to the one he had in 09, he should a 90Comment

Re: Madden NFL 11 Player Ratings: Top 10 WR's
So ur saying that moss bested White 2 out of the 3 years. Think about what you are saying. Moss is in a Pass 1st offense. White is in a runn1st offense. Moss has the luxury of Welker to take heat off of him. White is the only pass threat so he is doubled every game all game.... and 1 of the years that u say moss bested white is the best year ever for a wr...WHEN IS A SEASON LIKE THAT GUNNA HAPPEN AGAIN. And about this past year half of the ATL offensive starters were hurt (Ryan, Turner, Norwood, 3 of the OLman)....So white was doubled with the 3RD STRING RB IN THE GAME, WITH CHRIS REDMAN THROWING THE BALL IN SOME GAMES... Moss isnt better than white. and last year moss had a little over 100 over white.....so that isn't CLEARLY better when you factor in what ATL had to fight through last yearI agree VJ needs a higher rating 93ish, but Marshall has the edge when comparing the two.

You sound pretty foolish now....
Also in 2008 Smitty had over 1,400 yards (averaging over 18 yards per catch) despite missing the first two games of the season.....now you really look foolish....Comment

Re: Madden NFL 11 Player Ratings: Top 10 WR's
Most of what you say is exactly right, but do you seriously think this is all taken into consideration when making player ratings? White is rated lower because Moss had a better season than him statistically. Donny Moore doesnt take into consideration that since ATL had 3 o-linemen hurt and a backup QB playing(who had almost an identical comp% and Passer Rating as Ryan) and White still had a great season, than he must get a boost. Also i'd like to point out that ATL had fewer rushing attempts than NE and only 20 or so fewer passing attempts. White was also thrown at more than Moss, so the run-first/pass-first statement holds little water. So ur saying that moss bested White 2 out of the 3 years. Think about what you are saying. Moss is in a Pass 1st offense. White is in a runn1st offense. Moss has the luxury of Welker to take heat off of him. The post i responded to stated that White was better than Moss the last two years, when in reality, that is not the case. You also help my point proving Moss has been better when stating that he did have one of the best seasons ever. I'm not a fan of Moss, and do like White alot, but Moss is the better receiver of the two.Last edited by warrior7807; 06-22-2010, 11:41 PM.Comment
