imo, a 4.36 40 and then asking for a speed increase isnt homerism.

That wasn't the statement. They both said, Collins ran down Harvin last season, one of them said it happened numerous occasions in the two contests.

I said, "what?" (paraphrasing). Neither have backed up that statement with a video or any proof. I mean Harvin only caught 7 balls in the two contests, it can't be that hard to find the video of Collins running down Harvin after Harvin having a 10 yard start, especially if it happened on numerous occasions" as one of them said.

I don't have any issue with any player getting a speed boost if it's justified with a reasoned argument but the example they both used didn't happen once let alone numerous times.

Nothing like a couple of alleged sexual assault incidents to drop a top QB from the ranks...Confusing how Roethlisberger isn't one of the top QB's....

That's Jets D looks nasty. Ellis 86, Jenkins 94, Taylor 82, Harris 91, Scott 89, Revis 99, Leonhard 85. Then toss a rookie in Kyle Wilson who is a 77, Cromartie should be an 83ish. Our O-line is easily best in the game, good WRs. Here we gooooooooo

I wish there was more variety in speed and acceleration ala NCAA

lol thats because thats how college ball is many qbs in college can out run many lb's and de's but come to the nfl they are shutdown , the whole nfl is fast..I mean thats not a reason to give people the high ratings but still the nfl is fast like that compared to college not just certain positions are fast but many are.

People say this as if this is supposed to infuriate me? They lost multiple games bc Sanchez played like a rookie. A halfway decnt QB wins 10 plus games with the team. We still beat the Bengals on the road, beat the leagues hottest team in San Diego and were up @ the half with the Colts. Youre operating in a world of ifs and hypotheticals, wake up n live in the one where the Jets were a final 4 team. Facts Jets had the #1D n #1 rushing O, the ratings reflect it

Not to bash Welker or anything but it doesnt hurt that Randy Moss is on the other side. Wouldn't be suprised if he is in the high 80's, but I dont think he is better than the 10 mentioned.

I think Jones-Drew is rated fine he had 3 less td's then Peterson but everything else was pretty close and Peterson fumbled 6 times to Drews 2.
I do think Ray Rice should be up there abit more though.

Benson had the lowest yards/attempt in the top 15 rushers last year.
His yards total was inflated by the fact that he ran so frequently. He had three 35 run attempt games and a further three 27+ attempt games. To put that in perspective, Adrian Peterson didn't have a single 27+ attempt game all season, Benson had 6.

I also happen to think the Bengals Oline is a top 5 Oline in the league as shown by Larry Johnson and Bernard Scott (his backups) having a better average than Benson over the season and shining in the games that Benson missed.
If Benson reproduces this season then boost him up but you can't say he's that good after the first good season of his career.

Usually, backs that are high volume rushers have lower yards per carry. Peterson didn't play in a one dimesional offense. And when I say one dimensional, I am being kind to the Bengals. I watched every Bengal snap last season and after Henry went down, the offense was as predictable as it gets. Knowing they didn't have the protection to hold the ball and go deep, Marvin became content to get a lead and squeeze the air out of the ball.

Compare Peterson and Benson against common opponents. Top performance against divisional opponent included.

Add to that, Chris Henry went down 11/8 during the second Baltimore game. Up until that point, when the Bengals had that vertical threat Cedric's numbers look like this

Now extrapolate that over the course of a full seaon and you come up with:

car. 396 yds. 1674 that would have been good enough for #2 in the league

Not arguing that Peterson isn't an elite back, but Cedric Benson not even being in the top ten after a primetime performance like that?

Nick Collins not Having a AT LEAST 94 SPEED is also hilarious....This guy ran a 4.34/4.33 40 during his pro day At Bethune-Cookman... Its such a Joke how they do that... For example Patrick Willis is rated a 90 speed and there are a couple or LB's even LE's very close.....P-Willy is a BEAST But he is DEFINETLY NOT faster then Nick Collins ...This is a joke...When you compare NC's 89 speed to other positions it is actually just hilarious how dumb Donny Moore is.
