In no way shape or form is Romo and Schaub better than Big Ben. That is just ridiculous.

He may just not be included in this roster because of the suspension. He will probably be in the 94 range. And yes, he is better then Romo and Schaub.

well I think they increased it as the season went on last year.......when he first came into the league he was rated 92 speed...then I believe they dropped him to "88" when the season started last year....

so as long as he is still the fasted TE in the game, I'm fine with 90.....but I'm not ok with Jason Witton having a better rating than Vernon......Vernon is a better pass blocker, faster, and has shown he can catch in traffic for big key plays.

I think us 9er fans need to worry more about Shawnte Spencer's speed...as well as Dashon Goldson's rating.....

Spencer should be moved back to 91 speed...like he was a couple of years ago, and his overall rating better be up this year....the guy is basically our best covering CB...and he can tackle too.

yeah, he ran a 4.38....but yeah 90-94 should be fine......he has the speed....they can balance it out by decreasing his agility rating.....he is more of a straight line speedster.

Madden's rating system isn't capable of making its players mirror their real-life counterparts anyway. Ike Taylor runs in the 4.27 range but is routinely rated in the low 90's in speed. In reality no matter what his other ratings show, the Madden raters know that they can't give him speed in his true range or it will make him better then he is in real life. It's the same thing with the whole Mike Vick argument from a few years ago. Their system just can't accurately put the inputed ratings into the players on the field.

man lets forget stats for a sec.....watching Patrick Willis play since he first became a 9er, I don't ever remember him taking a horrible angle to the ball carrier....where as I distinctively remember Beason taking wrong angles in that Primetime game against the Giants last year (or was it 2 years ago)....the one where Giants ran all over Carolina.

doesn't mean Beason is just an above average player...no he deserves his due.......but...imo...its just that from what I've seen, Willis should be considered the better player in videogames and in real life.

You're talking about 1 game in a career that thus far has been filled with great games. I'm certain if I searched enough I could find a game where Willis took a bad angle as well. BTW he also had 14 total tackles that game so he must not have been out of position too much.....

patrick willis is slightly better than beason.... plus willis is a lil more durable and faster... that is about really the between them.... surprise d.willliams is ranked behind gore... but since it is only 1 point cant complain too much.... drew sneakly dserves it because he is more versatile than gore.... he faster than jackson and more durable so he gets the nod there too... when u talk about the bottom half of the top 10 of qbs, those can all change within a few points very easily so there really isnt a reason to argue why big ben isnt up there or mcnabb, its not like they should be 95+. offensive lineman look pretty decent..... surprised that mathis gets the top nod ar re end..... should be a more "complete" end on that side..... looks like my niners will be fun to play with this year and maybe you can do some damage with them in the franchise first year..... 77 with alex smith should be fine... probably will play just like garrard in madden 10 so short to medium routes are good....

People need to stop saying J Finley is top 10 TE.

Great potential but the kid has done nothing in his career to deserve being 90+, absolutely nothing.

Career= 750 yards and 6 tds in his career!!!!!!!

THAT'S NOT AN ELITE TE.

Elite potential maybe but not current ability.

Heck, in the same period, Shiancoe has got 1150 yards and 18 tds.

Last year:

Shiancoe: 566 yards/ 11 tds
Finley: 676 yards/5 tds.

Potential NOT current ability. Shiancoe is an above to average TE. Finley is the same level right now.

No one, except for future first ballot worthy HOFs, should have overall ratings above 95. If Peterson is a 98, than what would they rate backs like Marcus Allen, Jim Brown and Barry Sanders, 105 ?

Adrian Peterson is one of three players in NFL history to rush for atleast 1300 yards and 10tds in his first 3 seasons.

1st three seasons:

Marcus Allen: 2879 yards/ 33 tds / 27 fumbles
Jim Brown:3798 / 40 / 14 ***
Barry Sanders: 4322/ 43 / 19

Adrian Peterson: 4484 yards/ 40 tds / 20 fumbles

More yards than all of them, only less TDs than Sanders, far less fumbles than Allen, similar fumbles to Sanders.

*** Only played 12 game seasons***

well you won't find one that cost our team a win....when you watch that primetime game between the Giants and the Panthers, Bradshaw (I believe) ran a winning or game changing TD because Beason took a really bad angle....I'm sure Panther fans remember what I'm talking about.

but yes that is one game....I haven't seen that many games with Beason, but I've seen everygame with Patrick Willis.....he is the most consistent player on our team....it is rare to see him make mistakes....its like when every you saw Jerry Rice drop a pass...it kind of sticks out....

the few times he has made mistakes is when he was asked to cover shifty RBs out of the backfield who juke back to the center of the field....other wise he can stick with them...but as a MLB covering a RB in open space, pre-pass, can be hard.......but that being said, he is one of the few players who has run down Chris Johnson, when he tried to bounce it to the outside...it was pretty incredible watching it, because for sure you thought he was going to get around and break a big play.

Just did watch the video. NICK COLLINS NOTR IN THE TOP 10 IN SPEED FOR FS IS A DAMN ABSOLUTE FREAKING JOKE. He is easily the fastest FS in the NFL. Just goes to show Donny Moore doesn't listen to us or even look over some of the forums. Because Collins' speed or lack there of was the most talked about rating on the Packers rating thread on the EA forums. And not only did he ignore our crys all lst year, but he is being stubburn and doesn't want to admit he was wrong, by giving Collins his 95 speed. What a joke.
