Re: Supremacy MMA: Teaser Trailer and Screenshot
People were quick to jump at EA for their game, now it looks like it's going to be better than Undisputed 2010.Comment

Re: Supremacy MMA: Teaser Trailer and Screenshot
Because that trailer portrays mixed martial arts in an extremely crude way. If they're advertising it as a shock value, super-violent interpretation of the sport then i want nothing to do with that game.Last edited by feedthehorse28; 06-22-2010, 12:09 AM.Comment

Re: Supremacy MMA: Teaser Trailer and Screenshot
If anything it is going to look like the non big name promotions. The back alley promotions. Go read Forest Griffins book Got Fight. That is the stuff he started out in.
The game has a long ways to go yet but it is going to be interesting how they put it together. I just find it ignorant that you could dismiss the game based on very little information on it.Can't believe I been a member here this longComment

So they are showing "FIGHTING" in a bad light? So there are possible injuries? Injuries happen in MMA.

Re: Supremacy MMA: Teaser Trailer and Screenshot
Of course injuries happen in MMA and the sport is very brutal at its very roots, but i don't want to play a game where I'm snapping arms every time I do a kimura or an armbar. And no I don't for sure know that is what's going to be happening in this game, but based on the vibe I got from the trailer, the screenshot and that little preview that was posted a couple weeks ago it appears that way. Maybe I'm passing judgement too early, but the bottom line is that the way in which this game has been marketed so far has turned me off, so much so, that I've already lost interest before I've found out anything substantial about the game. If that's ignorance, then so be it.
See i agree somewhat. If you are breaking limbs and having outrageous fights like that every fight them meh, not for me. Now if there was a possibility of this happening during a fight and such, no problem. Adds realism to the game. Can't believe I been a member here this longComment

If it's fun and has depth I'll play the ship out of it. If it sucks, I'll quickly forget it exists.
I won't count it out though, I'm kind of intrigued and hope it's cool.
The underground boxing game for the ps3 motion looks interesting too...I think it's called 'fight; light's out' or something like that. They're both going for a gritty kind of illegal vibe like van damme's lionheart or something like that. I'm totally cool with that, there's already EA and THQ doing licensed games so why not?Liquor in the front, poker in the rear.Comment
