I even made sure they were sorted alphabetically instead of by ID this year so the ordering didn't reset.
If anyone is interested in the specifics, we recorded 2202 new Nicknames for this year. I also added a 204 alternate spellings that people had used with TeamBuilder (for example we had “Bandits” but now it will also play if you name your team “Banditz”). All the names we used came from the thread on the EA Forums and from teams created on TeamBuilder. We added the most common names from TeamBuilder (and just about all the names from the forum thread). Of the 520k TeamBuilder teams that existed when I created the list to record, 41,000 were "new" (ie not recorded or no version of the spelling on NCAA 10). Of the 2400 we had on NCAA 10, about 600 were never used by anyone! Of the 41,000 that didn't play anything on NCAA 10, 1600 of them had at least 10 teams using the name (many from the same author I'm sure).
