He wasn't just the OL coach, Chris Klenakis was the Offensive Coordinator the last two years. He was also instrumental in the continued development of the Pistol. The Razorbacks got a steal IMO.

I'm excited they added the Read Option to the Pistol this year as that's really become a staple of the offense for Nevada. I think it's superior to the Shotgun Spread Read Option because A. It doesn't tip your hand to the direction of the play and B. The HB is running up field, not side to side.

I'm hoping they added some of the mis-direction, fly sweeps, and pre-snap motion as well. An aspect of the Pistol that's often overlooked is the fact that there is offense directly behind and in FRONT of the QB. When you flash that WR or TE in front of the QB there's always the chance he's going to quickly hand it off to the motion man. They did that a lot more last year and it can really play havoc with a defense if it's executed correctly.

        SWEET avi :P VERY beast!

anyway, only time I am likely to use the pistol formation is with Bama, unless my small school or a team I use in RTG happens to have it.
Any idea to how many sets might be in Bama playbook? or the certain formations?

As I'm sure most of you already know, there's even a generic pistol playbook (as well a generic playbook for all 8 offensive styles) in the game this year.
            Favorite Teams:
            College #1: Michigan Wolverines
College #2: Michigan State Spartans (my alma mater)
College #3: North Carolina Tar Heels
            NHL: Detroit Redwings

I might actually try the pistol out this year. Usually I stick to pro style or one back but I am liking what I have seen in the demo and on videos.
              NCAA Football/Basketball - Michigan Wolverines
NCAA Lacrosse - North Carolina Tar Heels
