NCAA11 RETAIL HAS ARRIVED, EMBARGO DETAILS

All-

I just wanted you to know that I was just notified of an embargo on full impressions on NCAA11 even though I will have the final copy of the game this afternoon. The embargo lifts on July 9th.

What I AM allowed to discuss until July 9th is the following:

1.) Impressions of how Dynasty Anywhere and the Dynasty Wire features, along with any impressions of how the media dynasty is playing out.

2.) I am allowed to post my Dynasty Wire stories on a game by game basis (along with highlights from the games) via Twitter and Facebook. The EA site will not be up and running, so make sure you add me and OS to Twitter and FB if you want to view the stories.

I know some of you will be bummed out that I can't talk in depth impressions for the next 2 weeks, but please realize this is a standard policy in the industry, and has nothing to do with the quality of the game or EA trying to hide something.

Be patient, check out the Dynasty, root for the OS Huskers, and I promise to feed you guys as much information as I can before, and after the embargo lifts.

Would it be possible to find out and let us know whether, conference invites and coaching contracts are in OD. I think under what you posted you MAY be able to confirm without breaking the embargo.

Yeah, I think this type of question will be fine to answer. I will look into this one for sure, and if anyone else has "like" questions post them.

Here are my questions about online play, if you can answer that'd be great.

1. How many minutes are games by default (ranked)?

2. Is accelerated clock on by default (ranked)? If not, can the host adjust it?

3. Can we finally set our own weather conditions? (for that matter I don't think weather even worked at all for NCAA 10 did it?)

4. Can we choose the time of day the game is played in?

5. Are there any ways at all to scout our opponent? (I.e to find out % of hurry up, qb sneaks, etc)

6. Will the other guy see our alternate uniforms or will it be like last year where you change uniforms but only you see it and the other guy sees the default uniform?

7. Can we challenge our friends from our friends list to a ranked game now or is it going to be like last year and only allow this convenient way of challenging our friends to be a non-ranked game?

8. Will formation subs be saved to our profile? Or do we need to go through and set them for each and every single game??

9. Will using the hurry up offense fatigue non-hurry up teams or can everyone online use hurry up constantly without penalty?

10. Will we still have the "three pauses" rule or will EA ever change to the superior 2K method where you have 5 minutes total to pause and unlimited pauses?

11. Can our opponent still skip over any cut scene or will it be like Madden where both users have to agree to skip a cut scene? With the new intros they will always be skipped so I'd hope it's like Madden now..

12. Will challenges work online now?

13. Has the lobby and/or interface changed any?

14. Will we be able to concede a loss at any time now or do we have to wait until the second half to do so?

15. Will auto-sprint be on by default for ranked games?
