His k/9 def needs improvement as does his clutch. He also has a higher swinging strike % than Johan Santana.

EDIT: In 366 changeups 22% have been swinging strikes.

You have to keep in mind, the rerates took into consideration the 2007,2008,and 2009 seasons. For several guys (like Jimenez) this season's stats may have been taken into consideration. My guess is that Vargas' numbers weren't that great in previous years, thus the lower rating. Just my guess.

You're right 08 he got hurt, 09 he started off just like this year but had some issue and just got lit up right before the all star break in Colorado and was never the same.

There are still some issues with stamina. CJ Wilson has 107.64 pitches per start, yet when he gets to 80 in the game, he has NOTHING left in stamina. This is with the slider at 5 for starter stamina.

And this is in the first game I have played with these. I will play some more and see what else happens.

Otherwise, these are ****ing awesome. Thanks a ton guys, really great work. I really appreciate it!

I just realized that I worded that horribly. lol I absolutely love this set. I can't express enough gratitude for the hundreds of hours that were put into these rosters this year. If someone had a charity to donate to in their name or had a paypal account I'd definitely express my gratitude their way!

To the people that are trying out v4, do you feel v4.1 would be a better option, or is it ready to go the way it is? (I know it's a bit early to form an opinion, but when you do I'd love to hear what people think)

I donno. The stamina has caused such an issue. Most major league pitchers can easily throw 100 pitches. Just look at the stats. The top 20 guys in both the AL and NL for pitcher per start are all over 100. That means at least 40 pitchers average over 100 pitches per start (my stat source only shows the top 20 for each league) and probably around 50 or 60 average at least 100 pitches per start. I am struggling to see a CPU pitcher throw 100 and a lot of people on here can't seem to do it either.

i think you right on this because i see cpu pitchers throw around 85 pitches and get pulled.
