NCAA early release strategies

Well, that special time is fast approaching. Pretty soon, there will dozens of us out frantically looking for the game early. A few years ago it was the CompUSA hoopla and ever since then it seems getting the game early is becoming harder. What are some strategies that you guys use to get a store tos ell the game early, aside from the early release voucher that got me banned from a Toys R Us three years ago.

I have been calling all the independently owned stores in the Dallas area, no luck yet. Hastings worked for me once the next year they were hip to it and had a midnight release.

I'll just be waiting for the tracking number from Dell's website. Then I'll get the heebie jeebies every time I see a UPS or FedEx truck until it's on the front steps.

Nah, I will just wait till Tuesday July 13, 2010 at 9am. To buy the game its more fun to wait.

my best strategy is calling movie/game rental places. i called 8 places in calgary last yera until i found a rogers video being manned by a teenager who had no idea what was what. i asked them if he had madden 10 in, he said yah and i was like.. can i come get it? he was like sure... so i drove over and i had madden a full week earlier than the release date. i will apply this same technique to ncaa this year.

i just hope some roster makers get the game a few days early so that i can have named rosters when i get the game on midnite July 12...

Yeah, a friend of mine worked at a Hollywood Video last year and she sold me the game when they got their shipment the Thursday before.

Of course, Hollywood Video is now dearly departed so I suppose I'll just get it at the normal time.
