I noticed that too. I mean if they are preaching full control, we should be able to control how fast our players move and when.Comment

Re: NBA Elite 11 Video Interview: ESPN Presentation Confirmed
How was it not informative? you are assuming that EVERYONE KNOWS what you know... but as far as being great I agree that it wasn't great but it was alright and probably one of his better videosIt's a failure on 3 levels: programming/QA/Production. That's all I can say.-iminurbaseComment

At first, when watching it earlier, I didn't know whether to be angry at this cat or fall out laughing. I think I was leaning more toward the angry side and kinda didn't want to watch much more of the vid but due to the extremely poor streaming, I never got that far and just left it alone.
Upon return, I get treated to a whole lotta comedy in the comments but I also went to the page in hopes of getting a better stream, which didn't happen, and read the lil grammatically challenged artcle - Entry level professionalism at it's finest? I dunno. LOLz and SMHs abound.Just cuz you pour syrup on ish....Comment

Re: NBA Elite 11 Video Interview: ESPN Presentation Confirmed
The video was unwatchable.
Not because the bother in the cap was so hood...but because they failed News Gathering 101.
Why the hell would they not have some kind of light attached to the camera? I mean I'm staring at two faces in shadow like it's some witness protection thing. I mean, you can look at the camera all you want...but if we can't see anyone's faces, you may as well put a camera on the screen behind them.
Gah.
And I figured on the ESPN thing when they announced who the announcers would be and the precedent set already by NCAA Football. I imagine Madden'll be next, albeit down the line.Comment

Re: NBA Elite 11 Video Interview: ESPN Presentation Confirmed
It was only uninformative because Connor really couldn't comment on a lot of his questions. I really thought he asked some really intriguing questions but half the time Connor responded with a "we've been talking about it."Comment

Re: NBA Elite 11 Video Interview: ESPN Presentation Confirmed
Yeah, nothin really new and informative there. I figured that with the addition of Breen/Van Gundy/Jackson that ESPN Integration was finally in the game.
Yeah, you can't doubt this guys "hood"ness but he was actually asking some intriguing questions but the EA guy couldn't answer or responded with, "Well, as you saw it's a whole new game, so we didn't have time." I don't blame him though.
What I want to hear about is Audio and what they are going to be doing to up the ante this year. The new audio system was great last year with the different settings but I felt myself wanting more. More arena music/chants etc...etc. Also I want to see what EA is going to be offering in the presentation department this year, because I feel that 2k has always had a better pre-game/intro to game presentation that gave you that feeling of a real NBA game. I hope EA can emulate that this year.Comment
