Texas Tech's new White Helmets. Are they in?

They were unveiled 2 months ago but aren't in Teambuilder which fills me with dread.

Anyone seen a screen shot of them or heard news?

They are only going to use them 2-3 times this season but they look sharp and would be fun to use, if it's in the game.....

not in NCAA 11. Texas Tech told EA that they were not wearing any other helmet than their normal black one. I haven't seen any official announcement of Tech getting a white helmet either.

yeah, the picture I've seen. looks like a throwback to the early 70's white helmets Tech wore. however, doesn't mean it'll actually be worn. there have been other teams that have shown "alternate" helmets(or uniforms in general) that never came to.

Let's hope this holds true and they don't wear the white one. I've seen the thing and it looks like a complete rip-off of Auburn... way to go out on a limb there Tuberville...

Tech looks great in black, let's hope they stick w/ that helmet.

well "if" it is true, it'll be more of a retro/throwback than a direct rip of Auburn's. Tech wore Whites helments from 1970-74.

There would be no harm in including them, as long as it isn't the default. I like when teams do an all white uni, or have a white alternate helmet, it looks sharp.

I like the black best but I think the white is a cool alternative for special games. Too bad they didn't make it.

That's what I thought, so I had the helmet created and added to the game. Texas Tech asked us to remove it.

Kind of like how Florida didn't want their white helmet in, even though Florida's motivation for not wanting it in the game appears to be different. Any idea as why they didn't want it included, I'm assuming it's because they're not actually going to use them right?
