I'm Going to Enjoy Creating GamePlans, but the Interface Needs to Get Better

It looks like the GamePlan interface is the same as the audible interface and that really bothers me. I absolutely love the gameplan idea but it's very annoying the way the screen is set up. Plays aren't really sorted by formation and you have to scroll forever to find some plays.

I would like to just see something that looks just like the play calling screen. If a team has 8 Singleback formations, all of their plays are under the same Singleback heading instead of Singleback Ace, Singleback Doubles, etc.

I haven't even set audibles on next gen mostly becaus I use formation audibles, but also because the audible screen is so counterintuitive.

    Anyone else feel the same?

I'll try it out then base my feeling on it but yeah i would have liked to see it in a format like a clipboard look or a 3 ring binder..
Yeah that may sound silly but that's just ashout out to TV Sports Football and other old games with some cool visuals...

I'm sure I'll be happy either way as I'm just glad it's in. Hopefully they'll keep adding to it as it has a bunch og potential......

Absofrigginlutely! Not only should gameplanning and setting audibles be done with the traditional playcalling screen, but it should be integrated with the practice mode. There's nothing more intuitive than gameplanning while you practice, right?

I plan to use Gameplan, and I don't mind the interface. I just hope we can turn off the coordinator's voice.

Not that its not cool, I just don't want it to interrupt my broadcast like that.

Yeah I'm going to love gameplan, because every year in my 30 team dynasty I manually do a coaching carousel. With the carousel, I will change every team's gameplan to be about their new head coach or coordinator. Also, we can scout team's tendencies by looking at their gameplan, and we can stop the CPU from blitzing so much.

But yes, I would like a better interface.
I will always, always be a Jets fan. But trust me it hurts.

I agree 100%. The current audible setting interface is a nightmare. It makes no sense to scroll through the entire playbook with out having plays grouped by formation. It should work just like the playcall screen. The crazy thing is that the system worked great on previous versions. This new interface is a major mistake/oversight IMO. Just bring it back to what it was.

I am definitely going to gameplan, but if the interface is like the audibles, then that will hurt it a lot.
