Re: Free Agent Tracker (PG 1) & Off Season Movement
That's what I thought as well but I guess that there aren't many teams out here that have a hole at PG to the point where he could upgrade the position for them. I know we need a backup PG since we waived Keyon so I wouldn't be mad if we signed him.#RespectTheCultureComment

Re: Free Agent Tracker (PG 1) & Off Season Movement
Someone esle will sign with this team. if not this year next year for sure.Bell is out there now that Blake signed with the Lakers. Shaq isn't gonna turn down the offer from Atlanta to take a smaller contract IMO. Big Z...might as well just stick with Joel Anthony lol.
They offered Mike Miller but I don't know how they can afford that, I guess they know Beasley is being moved. So...
Chalmers
Miller
Wade
Bron
Bosh
And minimum contracts bums? Aye, have fun playing Boston, LA and Orlando with that line up.Hands Down....Man Down - 2k9 memories

Re: Free Agent Tracker (PG 1) & Off Season Movement
Yeah....I just read up on this.
- Beas to Minny for a 2nd rounder.
- Raps will basically get a pick/picks plus the TPE.
Which is not bad, it gives them flexibility to make some moves.Comment

Re: Free Agent Tracker (PG 1) & Off Season Movement
If he is not a superstar....He is a at least a star. Or in basketball terms a solid big. I mean you could almost put him on the boat with Gasol before the trade. He wasn't a "superstar" as you put it. But he was a very solid big man. Almost in the same mold as Bosh is. 'Really solid big man who plays on a bad team". Or has the skills to be an All Star. I think we all know he is at least a top 3-5 player at his postion.Hands Down....Man Down - 2k9 memories

I don't see why the Cavs won't just let go of the ego. And sign and trade LeBron. At least get something back. Don't just let him walk away...without getting anything in return.Hands Down....Man Down - 2k9 memories

Re: Free Agent Tracker (PG 1) & Off Season Movement
I just have one thought in general about the free agent summer of 2010.
Wade, Bosh, LeBron in Miami doesn't bother me a bit. The way got there does. I feel as though they thumbed their nose at the league and did not act with any sense of professionalism or class. The whole thing seemed like such a charade and reality TV program to me. LaBron's "The Decision" may have been one of the most embarrassing things I've ever seen.
The reaction pretty much everywhere today is not a positive one. I think they're a little suprised at that. I think in their little world this was gonna be such a big thing from a branding standpoint. I think they've underestimated their audience just a bit. The whole thing reeks to me in the end. If they would've just announced in a normal press conference that they were signing with the Heat without this charade of possibly signing here and there I would've been fine. Whenever I stuff like this I just think to myself that I can't wait til football season starts.PSN: JISTIC_OS

Re: Free Agent Tracker (PG 1) & Off Season Movement
Gotta agree with this post here the whole lets team up thing just doesn't sit well with me.
It'll be cool to watch these guys like ex said but that competitor in me just cant get behind this.
I understand you want to win but what about you're own personal legacy. I could understand if he was in his 30's but at 25 come on man you still got some time to try it on your own.. feels like he's already giving up on himself which is odd when your in still in the athletic prime of you're life.

Wow man, just wow
The stuff im reading on here is just completely insaneComment

The whole treating the free agency process like its a toy was embarrassing, and Bosh has no shame at all. He isnt even a superstar though, thats the funniest part about Gilberts diatribeComment

I think the league shouldn't have allowed the whole spectacle to go down like that but at the same time it created a HUGE buzz which is what the NBA needs.Alot of this same stuff is what I was saying in the beginning. Now it makes sense to people

When I told my wife that he signed with Miami to play with Dwade & Bosh the first thing she said was "who is Bosh"...lolComment

As a follower of another losing franchise it just cemented our spot on the bottom for the next 5 years. Oh well, at least I'll get to see that trio live at least twice a year for 5 years.Comment

Heat have like no more assets to trade.
Can two teams get traded player exemptions from the same team? I dunno.Comment

Re: Free Agent Tracker (PG 1) & Off Season Movement
Why LeBron would create that type of atmosphere is beyond me. Doing this 'one hour special' instead of just having a regular press conference was just going to alienate a lot of fans one way or another.
If he would have choose to go back to Cleveland, then he would have had the whole New York area up in arms. And that would have resulted in him pissing off the largest market in the country.
If he could have choose Chicago, he would have pissed off not only New York people but Cleveland people as well. BUT I got a feeling that their hatred wouldn't have been as high as it is now. Cleveland people would have been upset, but I doubt that the owner would have blasted Lebron and fans wouldn't have been burning his jersey in the streets.
BUT instead, he choose the worst scenario in Miami. And this is not just Cavs and Knicks fans he's pissed off, from what I'm seeing the majority of NBA fans highly disapproves of his actions.
If he would have had a regular press conference earlier in the week, the backlash he got would have simmered down by now. BUT I think he unwillingly painted himself as the villain by doing this charade. NOW, if he doesn't win a title next year, he's going to be looking at himself in the mirror asking, 'What have I gotten myself into?'I have more respect for a man who let's me know where he stands, even if he's wrong. Re: Free Agent Tracker (PG 1) & Off Season Movement
looks like the Bulls are in open talks with Korver. This would be a great move for the Bulls.
PLEASE GET HIM BEFORE Miami does. And since the Bulls have the money, I wish they sign Mike Miller just so Miami can't sign him.I have more respect for a man who let's me know where he stands, even if he's wrong.
