"Jeremy Green, a former NFL scout who is currently employed as an analyst by ESPN, was arrested Thursday on child pornography charges, The Hartford Courant reported. Green is the son of former NFL head coach Dennis Green, currently the head coach of the UFL's Sacramento Mountain Lions.

The arrest occurred at a hotel near Bristol, Conn., site of ESPN's headquarters. Jeremy Green was charged with first-degree possession of child pornography, possession of narcotics and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bail was set at $750,000."

If this is true, I hope he goes to jail.

I am in complete shock. I loved listening to Football Today and would have never expected this from him of all people. One of the best radio show hosts in my books. I hope this is false, otherwise he deserves the time.

Just plain sick.

For above poster usually when Police arrest on this it is usually cut and dry. They know he is guilty before the arrest. They do their research on these cases.

Not that there is any connection to this case but the general charge "possession of child pornography" always seemed kinda vague to me...does it include computer links to sites that have it but it wasn't viewed? Pornography with teens who lied about their age on a model release (ie Traci Lords)? The R.Kelly tape?

I think we hear the charge and always assume "little" kids...and I'm not sure if that is always the case.

And don't get it twisted...I'm not defending it or condoning it...just always seemed a question mark for me after reading a essay where the writer pointed out that anybody who saw the R.Kelly tape was now by law a sexual offender.

I get your point... it could be a matter of hitting the wrong link, etc. I've wondered stuff like that myself. While still vague, like Aggie said I think they do their homework before they go to nab somebody. Still don't know what that homework is but I trust they've done it. I would like to know though.
