Check it, the Bulls may not need Miller.

Omer Asik has just agreed to terms to come to Chicago. This is huge. Bulls been waiting on him since 2008. Very exciting week for the Bulls and their fans.

    Boozer
    Korver
    Asik

Great additions. Perhaps a couple more surprises left.

I still hope Miller comes to help in the learning process of Asik. It is because of Miller that Noah is as good as a passer as he is.

Doug Collins might be dumb enough to think he can coach out the potential in Deng.

I really like Taj but if you can add Iggy and a defensive 2 like Raja Bell or Matt Barnes cheaply...... in the words of #85 .... Kiss the Baby.

If the bulls could get iggy for deng and taj I would jump on that in a second, that would be a really good move for the bulls, could make them a title contender if the pieces fit together right.

              Teams that will be competitive

              LA
              Chicago
              Boston
              Miami
              Oklahoma City
              Dallas
              San Antonio
              Orlando
              Denver
              Houston
              Atlanta

              Teams I'm excited to see:

              Minnesota
              Memphis
              Washington
              Golden State
              LA Clippers
              New York

              Teams that have regressed:

Phoenix (feel bad for Steve and Grant)
              Portland
              New Orleans

Next year should be really good! The title still goes through LA regardless of Miami's calculated chaos. Boston is starting to be like a fly that you just can't kill. Looks like they'll be in the hunt for the next couple of years. Love the JO acquisition.

I just started reading Bill Simmons newest article. My question is what describes this off season better the Miami 3 or Joe Johnson getting the biggest contract from anybody? Serious question here.

Best news all summer. I have been waiting for this guy going on three years. Hopefully, he'll be able to adjust to the more athletic NBA game quickly.

Unfortunately, there is news that Matt Bonner may be returning as well.

If DJ Augustin is the starting PG next year for the Bobcats, then go ahead and declare it a wasted season. I know some people think he is ready to have a breakout year, but I personally have ZERO faith in him as a starting PG in the NBA.

That is a bigger miracle than the Heat landing Wade, Bosh, and Lebron. I was beginning to think he'd never come. I swear I've been hearing about him forever, it feels like he was supposed to be drafted the same year as Larry Johnson.
As Shaquille O'Neal left the Suns practice court, he yelled out, "Alvin's the coach. We must be the Clippers. And I must be Olowokandi. Nooooo!"

Really? I thought he was going to be an assistant coach from now on. Or is that Brian Scalabrine? Both big red heads that can shoot and do nothing else. It's hard to tell them apart.

Well, he's going to finally be a San Antonio Spur.

Sadly, Matt Bonner is apparently going to be wearing a Spurs jersey for four more years. Why they don't realize that he'll never replace Horry is beyond me?

Pop has had a stupid obsession with having a "stretch 4," even if it means having a choke-artist that can't rebound or defend on the roster. The guy has been a burden for at least a year that I wish could've found another team to play on.
