Oh, my bad.

According to the reviews page, OS scored NCAA 10 an 8.0, and NCAA 09 an 8.5. What review gave NCAA 10 a 6.0? I'd like to read that.

Different guys at OS reviewed past versions. If you read the series of posts you will see that someone asked what I would have scored those past NCAA games. Those were the scores I would have given. There are no formal reviews by me w these scores.

This is the reason why I never take game reviewers seriously.

If you go back and look at the previous reviews of " insert sports titles here", they all follow the same train of thought.

08 "Well last year it wasnt good, but this year its amazing"

09 "Last year wasnt a good year, but this year NCAA regains its glory"

10 "NCAA last year wasnt a polished title, but never fear...this year its returning to glory"

11 "NCAA has been terrible this generation, but thats all changed this year!! "

Same song and dance every year. Early reviews and people that get the game early proclaim it to be the greatest version ever, and by 3AM after the midnight launches people will be talking patches.

Gotta say I agree. Always hope that they have got it right every year.

End up feeling I blew the money.

Oh well gotta try it anyway.

I am sure there will be issues that pop up. But I think the core gameplay is finally where it should be. Or should have been years ago. But, its there now so no use looking back IMO.

Fantastic review, a really great read. I ordered my copy yesterday from Play Asia with express shipping but like last year I expect to be waiting a couple of weeks. Enjoy it guys, I'm sitting enviously on the side lines waiting to get into the action! Sometimes it sucks living down here at the bottom of the world.

Great read, I got Madden 10 last year and was very disappointed, I haven't had an NCAA on a platform for years. I think now is the time to switch it to NCAA. I know I will get this game for sure. I think it's time I retire NHL 09 after almost 7 months of playing it. Although I am counting on this game to get me my gaming fix for 12 months. You said that you could not switch conferences in Online mode, but can you in online mode? Thanks for the review guys.

great review. but come on with the dirty jersey issue yet again cropping up. i remember in ncaa 05, your guys would look like they crawled out of a fudge brownie at the end of a rain game. this is one of my favorite details in a football game, and i can't believe how they continually screw it up. still, i'll pick this up if the madden demo doesn't impress me.

Sounds good. Making the big jump this year from a hardcore Madden player to a NCAA player. Never bought the game but I'm looking foward to it. And the auto turbo and all the new moves. I like new lighting two. Sounds good so far. Lets see how it comes out

Knowledgeable, enthusiastic review -- but are you sure this is how auto-sprint works?

"Now, the game determines when to kick on the jets based on the player's speed and acceleration ratings -- where that player is on the field also ties into the equation. The feature is implemented beautifully and enhances the gameplay twofold."

In my experience with the demo, the left analog stick determines how fast you're sprinting, so that pressing all the way up on the L-stick is the equivalent pressing the R-trigger (the old sprint button).

That was the consensus from the OS community, too. I don't like the idea that the AI decides on its own when to sprint.

I'd love to hear a definitive answer on auto-sprint from one of the devs, because it's a major (optional) change to gameplay and I'd like to know exactly how it works.

I have bought every single ncaa football game since 1999 and i have to say I havent been so excited for a football game yet.
