Heat fan but VERY disappointed that Lebron is joining Bosh and Wade.

A team of Wade, Bosh, Udonis, and a well-put-together supporting cast would have been soooo much more satisfying than this media-driven carnival we're getting now.

But oh well, I'm not complaining. I've been a die-hard fan since the late 90's/early 00's (first time I was old enough to really be a fan of a team). They're my hometown squad and I won't root against them no matter how sour a taste this whole thing leaves in my mouth. What's really a shame is that they'll be forcing out Udonis Haslem, the heart and soul of the team and the only true Miami guy on the roster (as in, knows the city beyond South Beach). But I guess it's time to embrace the future - let's go Heat.

I've been a fan since the first tip-off in 88. While I don't care for the theatrics of how James joined the Heat, I am excited about possibilities of multiple championships. I do equate what James did last night to when a high school kid announces what school he is attending by having 5 hats and throwing 4 away before finally picking his school.

Im not playin I hate that he went to miami because of what it does to his legacy, but I want him to get his rings because he deserves it..

Rooting against them I think more because of the arrogance I saw in Bosh and Wade yesterday. Think about it, LeBron has proven he can carry a team to 60 wins.

Wade hasn't. When he won his ring, he still had a pretty productive Shaq, a great coach and a ton of overpriced role players around him. The last few years, when it's just been him, he's put up big numbers on the fifth-best team in the East.

Bosh is lucky to get to the playoffs by himself.

Yet here these three guys are. They get together in Miami because Miami was able to blow things up and, well, they're in Miami.

But here's how I plan on rooting against them: By not giving them any attention.

If Lebron handled this whole 'situation' a little better, I wouldnt be rooting against them like I am right now. I knew the dude was arrogant before, but with the whole decision thing...he just took it to a whole other level. I hope they fail in the most devastating way.

Meh wasn't really a fan of Miami was a fan of D.Wade and I am still a D.Wade fan but I just can't rock with Miami at any point really...why? Because they Have Lebron now, and I have never been a fan of LBJ, I respect his game but I just never really liked LBJ therefore I can't root for any team he is on.

im in the same boat...but i'm not switching teams anymore. and i truly doubt a player will come and gain my interest like lebron did..i truly believe lebron will retire a heat...im here for the good times and bad for life now...
