    New Hitting Interface Needed

This game needs a new hitting and pitching interface period. I have grown totally bored of having the same cursor type hitting. I am at the point where it just feels as bland to play the game now. Surte hope mlb the show 11 when it comes out next year doesn't just have the regular updated rosters and new player models but no new interfaces. I would like to see something like the mlb 2k series has and like high heat had. zone hitting with no cursor.

this game does have zone hitting with no cursor. Turn off the PCI.
I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

This game definitely needs a new pitching interface because the meter and classic both fail in giving you a good balance between user skill and pitcher attributes; the meter is pretty much all user skill and classic is all pitcher attributes.

The hitting interface is pretty good, it offers a pretty good balance of user skill and batter attributes. I definitely would like to see the interface tweaked because left stick placement is too lenient even on the highest difficulty. I agree High Heat had a almost perfect hitting interface. The bigger problem with hitting for me is that the hitting engine is rather flawed, the batter's power attribute is the dominant force in deciding whether you get a hit or not.

2k's hitting system is ok, but I prefer the show's over it. and ins't already very similar to HH. either way, I see no problem with this hitting system as it is now, other than being tweaked and improved.

I'd like to see a hitting method like Pro Baseball Spirits has, but I don't have any complaints about what it currently is.

Don't want any new programming until things are fixed.

Pro baseball spirits has hands down the best hitting interface/engine/physics out of any baseball game out there. Wish the guys at scea take a look at how they do this and mirror it. Japanese just have a leg up on this kind of stuff. Scea learn from the best!!

Ive heard great things about Pro baseball spirits. too bad Konami doenst take their engine and create a US game. I know there would be issues with the take two/mlb agreement, but I'd even buy a college game. Hell. if its as good as I hear I'd even play with Japanese rosters and teams.
