    Brandon Jennings

These are incredibly mature comments from a guy who just finished his rookie season. I honestly think a lot of young players would benefit from spending a year abroad / not being pampered / learning how to be an adult on their own. He went away immature and came back a man.

    Well said young fella

Brandon Jennings Never run away from your problems, man up. If it was easy we all would have a ring, Lebron did what he had to do I guess, should have been more low-key about it. He just affected alot of ppl in Cleveland, I don't think he know how much the ppl in Cleveland loved him, it more then basketball to them I think.... Remember the great ones always stuck it out through the hard times. "Kobe" "MJ"...

The Kobe revisionism is getting out of hand and didn't Jennings run to Europe due to not qualifying for I believe Arizona because of a bad SAT score?
As Shaquille O'Neal left the Suns practice court, he yelled out, "Alvin's the coach. We must be the Clippers. And I must be Olowokandi. Nooooo!"

        Jennings has matured incredibly.

He is not one-tenth of the player he was when he was in high school.

His entire situation has humbled him. I really like Jennings now and I didn't at all before the season started. He is spot on, 100%.

So... he won't bolt to a bigger market with a better team when his rookie contract is up, then?

Because I was always sort of assuming he would.

            Who knows.

He definitely appreciates the fact that the Bucks took a chance on him and gave him the reigns immediately.

              .

Damm man, that's not the freaking point.

Maybe he will leave. Players have that right.

But...if he does... I am sure he will do it in a hell of a lot more professional / classy / dignified way.

When you're a Bucks fan, it's kind of the point.

Because it's been done over and over and over again in Milwaukee. With both franchises that reside there.

Frankly, I couldn't care less about how he feels about the LeBron situation. And I'm not really sure saying what everyone's been saying is "growing up".

Jennings' maturity level is high which is a surprise after the comments he made when he got drafted. He seems to also get it financially where other players (Curry) are making 8 figures a year and are bankrupt.

'Sounds' mature I guess. Now if only he was mature on court instead of firing badly selected off balance long jumpers and dancing after actually hitting one, even though that hit takes him to 1-10 for the game...

Its time for people to stop this

First of all MJ was never a free agent like this

2nd, Kobe Bryant is one of the worst players in the world to use as some kind of an example because he completely showed his behind in this same situation, unprofessional, throwing teammates under the bus, calling the owner a liar, asking for a trade, saying he'd rather play on Pluto, and its quite amazing how everyone has no qualms with that

and for goodness sakes this came after Ray Allen's comments like a prophecy

Im not saying or showing this to excuse LeBron for his pandering and his tv special because that was garbage at its finest, but I wish people would leave it well enough alone with this comparison morality thing

                        Re: Brandon Jennings

No one is blaming Lebron for wanting help. I think the arguments have gone on long enough and been repeated enough that we all know that isn't the point. Most of the arguments about other places Lebron could have gone include him teaming up with one or two other All Stars.

If I had a marquee player on my team, I'd definitely want him to demand better starters than Smush Parker, Kwame Brown and Luke Walton. This is not the same situation Lebron is in. No one is saying Kobe is perfect, or even perfect by comparison, but there is a contrast in their resepective situations. Please lets not dig up this old tired Kobe debate. There was a lot more going on with that franchise besides him demanding better players and everyone knows it.

KDRE, I'm not saying you're doing it on purpose, but your responses seem disproportionate. Lebron by all accounts did one of the coldest things to his city ever to be recorded in sports after quitting on his team in the playoffs. If you're going to be digging up YouTube videos, there is reference pertinent to the current situation. Kobe's old mistakes don't make Lebron's current mistakes any better or any more excusable. You seem outraged by Kobe demanding better teammates, but not so much by Lebron's current actions.

LOL l really don't get how everyone is saying he's incredibly matured, everyone in Milwaukee knows he's still a big *** kid. One of the reasons I don't like him is because he's so immature. I don't even get how that statement reflects maturity, Kobe threw everyone in the Lakers organization trying to escape.

Actually, that's far from the truth.

This kid grew up during the season. He has Scott Skiles as a mentor and has even said that he appreciates Skiles as a coach because he played PG.

You don't see his name in the paper under police reports or having a entourage surrounding him. He said he doesn't need that.

Not sure how you are privy to info that he still "just a kid."
