Possible spoiler for new League license in PES 2011?
I was checking out the Football Manager 2010 wiki and found this little nugget of info. Hmmmmm:
I wouldn't mind having a go in the J-League1 - <small>Germany's national team is not allowed to be included in the game due to licensing rights being owned by EA Sports' "FIFA" series and Konami's Pro Evolution Soccer, whilst the Japanese J-League and the Japanese national team are not allowed in the game at all due to Konami's purchase of the exclusive rights for their Pro Evolution Soccer series.</small>
Also from the PES 2011 wiki:
They are from Wikipedia so don't know how accurate this is, but if the Enhanced edit mode is true, this will blow away FIFA's new creation mode!Enhanced Edit Mode - Pro Evolution Soccer 2011's Edit mode has been improved vastly to give the players complete control over the game's content and its appearance. Players are no longer limited to a number of player/team slots. They will be able to create virtually unlimited number of players and teams. Also, players will be able to create stadiums, custom league and cup competitions. Everything created by the player will be fully customizable. Stadiums can have different turfs, capacities, nets, roofs and other features. Created league and cup competitions can have their own formats (Group, Knockout, etc.), emblems, which teams and countries can participate and much more.

If the edit stuff is true, I might get the PS3 version and join in on some online master league fun.Comment

I couldn't give 2 ****s about the J-league. I'd rather just have more create-a-team slots where editors can create leagues of their choice. If you really can create an 'unlimited' number of players and teams that would be awesome.Comment

The use J-League for the Japanese version of PES/ Winning eleven for years now, they don't include the J-League to PES because there would be no interest to play with them...
They have the copa libertadores licenced now, 28 teamsProud to be a Croat!

Same. If I wanted the J-League that bad I would either dl an option file, buy the Japanese version, or create all the clubs myself.
Unlimited slots = HUGE WINComment

Re: Possible spoiler for new League license in PES 2011?
This would be big.
I just wonder about the legal situation here as nowadays nearly every producer has to assurce that no trademarks can be recreated.
Or Konami simply gives a sh*t about this and will eat any fine.
Anyways, I am really excited for this one!Soccer: Werder Bremen, FC Barcelona,
NBA: Celtics, Bulls, Supersonics
NHL: Flames
NFL: Steelers

The create a stadium/ create your team mode is old news. It has been released on the games preview screens and trailers.
About the
J-Leage thing, I don't PES 2011 will include that league. That info regarding Konami having the rights is because they release a J-League game every year in Japan.Only respectable people deserve respect, you destroyed the game.Comment
