Does Madden have the same new lighting system as NCAA?

They have A new lighting system...whether or not it's the same as NCAA I don't know.

I'm gonna say, just based off of what I have seen so far, no. Madden has a new lighting technique, but I doubt it's the same as NCAA. I think they took different approaches.

NCAA's is over-stylized for my taste. Makes every game look like its been shot through a cheap lens filter

Lighting looks good in my opinion...Kinda off topic but I have a picture from the same section in M&T Bank Stadium as the one from the Lighting Improvement link above.

I still hate the fact that the lighting is still static. Playing in a sunset that lasts the entire game is lame.

If you're talking about progressive lighting, then no, it's not in Madden.

Both games look awesome! Just wish progressive lighting made it into Madden like it did NCAA.

Personally, i think NCAAs lighting is much better....But thats just me.

This choices made for Madden 11's lighting are my biggest pre-release gripe. The gaming community spoke up and gave feedback for Madden 10. Great job so far - now finish. The design team listened and implemented those changes....to NCAA 11.

Bummer.

There's something inherently dramatic about an afternoon game that ends in moonlight. It's disappointing that this experience will once again elude a modern day game of Madden NFL.

From what I've been able to gather - it's the Art Director's call. Asking Madden's Art Director politely on Twitter has only been met with silence. Madden's Creative Director says there's more important things to do.

Guess it ain't happening this year. And frankly, I think that stinks.

Thought I just submitted this but guess I didnt.

Anyways I hope the lighting doesnt effect the uniforms getting dirty.Some people are claiming NCAA doesnt have dirty uniforms BECAUSE of the new lighting.

they had quarterly lighting changes in the ps2 version. they don't have that for 11? honestly, once a quarter is good enough for me.

Its very dissapointing that Madden doesnt have the progressive lighting.

After playing an 8pm game @ Death Valley on NCAAA last night..its a disservice to the consumers not to have it in Madden.
