I think that this is subjective to some degree, after all it's a really lose definition. I remember last year i had an Oregon state dynasty, I was playing a great game vs Toledo, who i had expected to steam roll, but i was up less than a field goal about a minute left, So i'm chipping away on the ground trying to run out the clock, but then a fumble happens, their MLB picks the ball up and outruns my fastest wide reviver for about 70 yards! He had around low 80 speed, vs my mid 90's speed receiver, and when the fumble happened they were within 5 yards of each other, not only that he gained distance on my WR. This completely killed what had been a great game, and because this kind of thing could've happened at any time, it's a gamebreaker to me. Same for the hand off glitch, it's all about when and where it happens. If it can ruin a season in one snap, it's a gamebreaker.

Oh it's completely subjective really. Like I said, I consider a gamebreaker something that renders the game unplayable, not one that renders a negative result you simply dislike. Almost all bugs are going to render negative results you don't like. I remember that NHL2K5 had a bug where the game would freeze with 1 second left in the 3rd period. That was a gamebreaker because the game was unplayable. This is not a case of a gamebreaker by any means, simply a bug that needs patched ASAP.

So you said that this is only certain PA hand-off plays? It'd be cool to get all plays that his happens on and red-flag them, so i can avoid them until this is patched.

Same kind of thing happened to me on Madden for PS2. I forget the exacts, but after getting Comeback-AI'D, with a BS touchdown for the computer to take the lead late, I drive and then get ripped off by another glitch and lose.

You know what... When/if it does happen I'll turn it into a positve and just pretend it's a busted play. Something I've been asking for for a long time...

This is exactly how I feel about it. It would be nice if fixed but if it isn't, I will just treat it as a busted play.

are you sure its a patch? Every game i get has me install something the 1st time i use it. If it was a patch that fixed things, wouldnt we have gotten info on whats in the patch? Just wondering...

well adam is lurking hopefully he could shine some light on questions such as the PA glitch, dirty uniforms and the list of improvements to the demo are in the retail game already or is their going to be a launch day patch?

JerseySuave4 - technically I don't even think Microsoft calls them patches but rather updates. And not every game has an update when you buy it. I was shocked this had an update when I booted it up. And I did read somewhere that this update was supposed to fix the PA glitch but it's obvious it has not. Not sure what, if anything, else it was supposed to do.

This is one thing I hate about the console patches...er updates... On the PC if you get a patch it will always spell out 100% what all was changed but on the Xbox and PS3 you are often left wondering what the thing just did to your game.

Yeah, I believe Ian called it a title update in the Madden forums last year.

Couldn't you pump fake to get out of the animation? It seems like a easy way not be stuck.

That'd probably work too but I just press A and it gets you out of it. It's the same method you use on the PA QB option type plays to get out of the option to pitch the ball to the HB and go into passing mode.

Oh and no, the patch will not address any player ratings issues.
