Hello there everyone.
I was able to conduct an interview today with Ben Haumiller, one of the designers of NCAA Football 11 and he was able to answer quite a few of my questions regarding the new version of the game.
Here's a bit of what we covered.
- Online Dynasty changes
- The new TruSchool system and how each teams play styles were configured
- What are the challenges for designing a game for the hardcore fan as well as having pick-up-and-play type play for the “normal” gamer.
- How much input the NCAA Football community has to offer in helping with each year’s game.
- What changes have been made to the recruiting system.
- How much input ESPN has into the games and how they are able to be used to make the game better each year.
- What concerns they have about implementing a feature like the stadium entrances, knowing that fans will be skipping them after seeing them a few times.
