    CPU vs CPU Sliders

Just got the game today and the first order of business will be creating good cpu vs. cpu sliders. I am on my first game colorado vs. colorado st. I have it on very slow speed and 10 minute quarters. I dont think 10 minutes is going to work (too long), but we will see. No broadcast cam, but presentation is awesome so far. I am trying to figure out why the dynasties are all a week off on the dates. Week 1 is starting a week earlier than the real season.
Anyways I know several people will be creating sliders so hopefully in a few weeks we will have a good set so we can start our seasons.

    Re: CPU vs CPU Sliders

Good to know. I'm a CPU vs CPU player.

Right now i'm trying to figure what is the best tru minutes per quarter. I'm using two "Pro" style teams so the no-huddle doesn't twist the play counts or stats.

It seems 8 min might be the way to go. In my game after the first quarter both teams combine has a total of 31 plays which is on track for 120 plays.

I just finished a game clay on cpu vs cpu. I was Navy playing against Minnesota and I lost 38-35. Played on All-American with 8 min quarters.

            Minnesota play count: 74
            Navy play count: 62

            Total play count: 136

I think 7 min quarters would be perfect.

I have started on Varsity right now which is Default. Things I have noticed so far that will be adjusted in my second game. I think the 38-35 game seems high for Navy/Minnesota. I wonder if Varsity will keep the score lower:
              1. Running game needs to have longer runs...too many tackles for loss.
              2. Turnovers are too high. More fumbles than interceptions.
              3. Very slow is the way to go.
              4. I think 8 or 7 minute quarters will be the norm
              5. Overall, game play is as good as Madden last year, but the pace of the game is a lot better. The plays are not 2 seconds after each other.
              6. Will start second game with new sliders in a bit. Will post 1st game stats soon.

I'm using Default on AA with with game play on slow. I also have speed threshold at 100. 8 min quarters.

So far the game is playing fine. I haven't got into sliders yet, because i want to get the time down first.

But right now in the 2nd quarter with 4:00 left to half time.

In your game was there a lot of no-huddle plays? In my game right now, there hasn't been one which is keeping the game on track for 120 plays.

You really want to play with teams that don't do no-huddles so you can get your bench mark on the best time.

I'll post my results when my game finishes.

Also showing huge glitches in scheduling..some teams are missing games and some are not at the right location. Week 1 starts a week early. Hopefully this gets worked out in a patch.

Game 2 in the books...this game played a lot better and I didn't see a crazy amount of turnovers. I think the speed threshold set at 100 gave the running game an even more realistic feel. 8 minute quarters seems to be the way to go. I also turned off freezing the kicker and home field advantage. It may be also to note that I do not have Colorado or Colorado State as a user team..meaning they are teams outside of my control.
