Official Xbox 360 community roster correction thread

Ok, since a lot of people seem to be posting corrections in the thread for updates on progress, I figured it would be best to start an official correction thread so these guys don't have to focus on corrections till the file is actually complete.

Please also understand that most the corrections you post here won't be addressed until after the official release. Since you some of you have an unfinished version and want to post corrections, this thread is needed now.

Anyway, please post only corrections here and I'm sure in time our great roster editors will focus on what needs to be changed. For now just smile and know we are even closer the actual release of the rosters.

Re: Official Xbox 360 community roster correction thread

    from roster thread...

    Kansas Jayhawks

Quinn Mecham - is a JR after going the JUCO route, not a FR.

Christian Matthews, QB #12, will play little to no QB - he has been part of the receiving corps for a couple years now. At most, he could run a wildcat-esque play or two, but is on the two-deep at slot receiver.

Bradley McDougald is WR #24's name, not McDonald

Chris Omigie, FR(RS) WR #83, is omitted from roster in place of true freshman WRs - possibility of starting and assurance of place on two-deep.

AJ Steward, JR TE #11, is omitted from roster - he will be the backup TE.

Jamal Green, SR(RS) DT #99, is no longer with the team, suspect in armed robbery - could use this spot for omitted player.

Darius Parish, DT #55, is a SO, not JR.

Lubbock Smith, FS #13, is a true SO, not SO(RS).

    also...
Jeff Spikes, RT #74, will be out all season with an injury, for which he'll probably receive a medical hardship...I guess that'd just be up to the person playing to redshirt him?

Re: Official Xbox 360 community roster correction thread

Copied and pasted from the community rosters thread:

First and foremost, thanks for all the hard work with the rosters. I seriously can not thank you enough. Alabama looks really good but there are a few problems and I also have a few suggestions. Feel free to make all, part of, or none of these changes or verify the info with any other Bama fans. Also, these can, and probably should, wait until after the first draft of the rosters are finished. Or if not, I can just make these changes on my own, no worries.

      HB:
#34 Jeramie Griffin will likely never see the field. Eddie Lacy is far and away #3 on the depth chart and Goode will play if there is an injury to the starting three. I would suggest moving Griffin to FB so you can move Jolston Fowler to his actual position.

      WR:
I’ll do these last since they are kinda subjective. It is technically fine as is, but there is a emphasis on including wrs that won’t play.

      TE:
I would greatly suggest adding True Freshman Brian Vogler. He is 6’7, 4stars, and from Georgia. He could challenge for the backup TE spot if he comes in ready to play.
      http://rivals.yahoo.com/alabama/foot...AF3wgJTqlnq5B4

      OLB:
I think ROLB #34 was supposed to be Alfy Hill. #19 was jonathan atchinson and he’s now gone (off the community roster), but that’s OK. Alfy needs to be switched to the other OLB position behind Upshaw and Stinson.

      MLB:
Jolston Fowler has made the most noise this summer. Right now he is at fullback but he needs to be a MLB. Out of all the true freshman, he is supposedly the biggest “freak of nature” of the bunch. If nothing else, I highly suggest moving Fowler.
      http://rivals.yahoo.com/alabama/foot...d6x_gO3Mtnq5B4

Chris Jordan is the currently projected starter at the MLB spot next to Hightower. Right now he is at the bottom of your rankings and depth chart.

      FS:

It looks like you guys just changed the skin of Robbie Green to Wesley Neighbors and left the stats the same. I agree with the other poster in that you should change Neighbors back to green and just put him lower on the depth chart. Green in still on the team and still very very good. He is just suspended all of next season. For people running dynasties with these rosters, Green will definitely be a factor next season.

Rod Woodson should be moved to FS. He and Lester are battling it out for the starting spot opposite Barron.

True FS Jarrick Williams will likely play linebacker but the move isn’t official yet. Regardless, athlete Blake Sims (surprisingly) just qualified and will get a shot at Free Safety this fall. Sims, 4Star ath, was one of the biggest steals of the class. He played QB in Hs and was recruited by spread schools at QB and by most schools at slot WR. However, Saban is putting him on the D at one of our biggest holes. I suggest changing Williams to Sims.
      http://rivals.yahoo.com/alabama/foot...9UNCi_.jFnq5B4

And now for WR. Again, these are just suggestions.

#82 Earl Alexander hasn’t (really) and probably never will never see the field. I suggest changing him to a different receiver who will/might play.
#11 Brandon Gibson might play, but he hasn’t been able to crack the starting rotation so far and Bama has signed a ton of 4star receivers the past few years who will (hopefully/probably) make an impact at some point. I suggest changing him to a different receiver who will/might play.
#81 Kendall Kelly is probably the least impressive of the 4stars over the past few years. He spent most of the spring at free safety and he has a bunch of receivers in his class and the latest class to beat out. I suggest changing him to a different receiver who will/might play.

To replace these three I would suggest the following. I ordered them by who I think it is most important to get in.:
#83 RS Fr Kevin Norwood. Former 4star. He has made the most noise last offseason and this offseason. http://alabama.rivals.com/cviewplayer.asp?Player=420287 http://rivals.yahoo.com/alabama/foot...vw7k0qRCNnq5B4

#7 RS Fr Kenny Bell. A speed, rather than possession receiver who had a solid spring.

      http://rivals.yahoo.com/alabama/foot...fr_L0gQqlnq5B4

#? True Freshman DeAndrew White. 4star Rivals 100. He is doing great in the summer workouts and has impressed but who knows when the pads come on. Another track star, so speed rather than possession.
      http://rivals.yahoo.com/alabama/foot...AObeMi1vpnq5B4

I would change create 4star true Fr. Corey Grant. Here is Grant’s info: http://rivals.yahoo.com/alabama/foot...juaNgg2tJnq5B4. Grant is the fastest player Bama has signed in recent memory and will play slot receiver at Bama, not RB.

Again, thanks for all the hard work.

I don't know if these are in the Fairdale Kings roster, but at HB for Florida State, the names are swapped for Ty Jones and Chris Thompson. The player who is #33 and a junior is Ty and #23 and sophomore is Chris.

Re: Official Xbox 360 community roster correction thread

Hey everyone, I am going to offer my time and services to everyone who is interested. I am going to take the community roster once completed and make corrections and adjustments based on all your suggestions and comments to make the best roster file out there.

Please post any corrections you feel are necessary and I will look into each team and make the roster as accurate and thorough as possible including equipment and even home towns.

I did the 2009 file with DK, Carson and others, and it turned out great even though DK went loco on all of us. I want to have a fun experience and share it with all of you.

            Thanks,
            Nolia

                            Oregon Corrections -

Here is a very accurate depth chart projection for the upcoming year

WR's butterfield, delaney, ebanez are all walk on scout team players that will never see the field and should be most definitely be replaced. Due to Diante Jackson and Tyrece Gaines being ineligible, oregon will move ****FR Josh Huff(should be low 70's rating) and **FR Eric Dungy(tony dungy's son, should be low-mid 60s rating) to wide receiver. Their profiles are below. Huff will wear #4 and Dungy will wear #19

WR keanon lowe is listed as a junior but is a true freshman and is also rated too high at 81, should be low 70's he was a 4* recruit.

#56 Josh Kaddu should be the 3rd starter at linebacker after matthews and paysinger, but is not in the game. (should be low 80's when added)(profile below)
Josh Kaddu (56) Linebacker - 2011 — All-Pac-12 first team (Pac-12 coaches, Phil Steele) … Started all 14 games at SAM linebacker … Second on the squad with 6...

-TE David paulson is Black in game but is actually White and 6'4 235 lbs but is 6'7 in game.

-Freshman CB Terrance mitchell is missing. He wears #27 and should be rated low 70.(profile below)

Right Tackles CE Kaiser and Nick codys names need to be switched. Kaiser is the senior, cody is the soph.

A couple other minor things FB Malachi lewis should be rated like 60's not 84, he never plays. Freshman lache seastrunk is thought to be one of the fastest running backs in the country this year maybe but is only 91 speed, should be at least around 95ish. Dontae williams is rated 65 whoever created him- he is a 4* recruit he should be low 70's.

-please consider dropping DT brandon bair 5 ovr points, and raising DE Kenny rowe 5 Ovr points. would be much more realistic

EDIT: One last thing. #81 SOPH justin hoffman should be added to receivers. he is 6'1 205 and is white. (low 70's rating)

This makes for a MUUUUCH more realistic oregon roster, and i hope these gets implemented before rosters are made final and everyone is using these for their dynastys! thanks again for your hard work!

                              for miami...

Orlando Franklin is the starter at LT
Brandon Washington is the starter at LG (should be a better run blocker, too)
RT is still up for grabs I think between Ben Jones (whose position should be changed to RT) and Jermaine Johnson. Franklin, Jones, Johnson, and Henderson should all be available for the tackle spots.

Graig Cooper will likely not play this year. Damien Berry will be the starter, backed up by Lamar Miller (whose speed and acceleration should both be 92 or 93, imo) and Mike James/Storm Johnson.

Olivier Vernon should be lighter and thinner. I think this was changed in the most recent roster, though.

Shayon Green is the likely starter at MLB, and since his ratings are all better than Kylan Robinson's, he should probably be the starter in the roster.

Other than that the roster is pretty good. I'll do some ratings tweaking (Brandon Harris and Damien Berry +acc, Aldarious Johnson -spd +acc, and some others) but that's all I can think of for Miami.
