Is it safe to say this game is the best NCAA Football game of all time?

First off I just want to say I've been playing college football games since NCAA Gamebreaker 98 and NCAA football since 99. I played Madden since 95 so I am not new to football games.

Just one day into the game I already know and could safely say this is the best NCAA Football game so far. Out the box this game is GOOD TO GO! Other NCAA games this gen needs to be patched to improve gameplay and even when they were patched they still have nothing on NCAA Football 11 out the box. Trust me I owned them all.

NCAA 11 = G.O.A.T. when it comes to college football games. Yes even better than NCAA Football 06. I said it!

PS: The way I feel about this game might be premature but I could feel that this game is going to be great. NCAA is headed in the right direction.

I'm hesitant to vote on this yet. I always thought 04 and 06 were on nearly equal footing, with 04 maybe a little ahead. I think that 11 is around the same level as 06, but I don't know if I'd give it the edge over 04 yet. If I had to rate them, I'd give 04 a 9.5 and 06/11 both a 9.3ish. Once I delve into dynasty mode, this may change drastically.

04 is also a great title wasn't that the one with Carson on the cover? If I had to rate them it would be like this.

Yep, 04 had Carson Palmer on it. I need more time with the new one, and I don't have to work for 12 more hours soooo... time to go get a couple games in.

I think its just alot of new car smell right now. The game still has alot of issues, not seen in last gen games.

Its definitely in the top 3 I believe but I think 2006 was the best one. But trust me I think it can only get better if E.A. builds on top not knockdown and start all over.

06 on xbox 1 Sure it is dated in some areas but it has stuff that should of been added to the next gen version years ago.

Exactly bro, E.A. should be building on top of what they have not revamping all the time. I believe a sports game like NBA 2K has done an outstanding job of building on top of what they have.

I get what you are saying that's why I said the feeling I am having now is premature but in terms of gameplay I think this game is better than any college football game I've played dating back to Gamebreaker 98. I just popped in NCAA 06 earlier and I can see why people say it's a great game. It's good but I just think when it's all done and over with NCAA 11 will be a better game.

Btw it's just my opinion. I respect everyone else's

Without hesitation, dopeboy. My NCAA days go back to the gamebreaker series as well and NCAA11 is definitely the best. I've spent a good amount of time with the game so far and it plays a really good game of football. the head-to-head human matchups will make this hame shine even more because the CPU does get a little predicatble. The foundation has been laid for a more robust presentation system to be implemented in NCAA12 and locomotion is the best thing since sliced bread.

Kudos to EA and the effort they put into this game. It's a bit overdue, but hey - we all have our priorities and unless you are the big man at the top of the food chain we all follow direction from others and realize that we cant get what we want all the time. Cheers!
