Instant Replays Stink!

I had a 60 yd run and a 99 yd int and got to replay the last 10-15 yds of each play. Why even make a highlight of that?? Am I missing something?

Yeah I noticed that too (it sucks lol)....plus is it just me or did they take away the quick replay option? I'm talking about where you could tap both L1 & R1 (PS3) simultaneously and pull up the replay after you just ran that play?

Yeah, I would have to agree. I wonder if this is just a PS3 thing? Anyone with xbox getting this? It seemed that after the game I could go into manage highlights and see the whole replay, but there are times when I want to see the whole thing right away.

I've only played a few games thus far on the RTG (Halfback, xbox), and one weird thing I noticed is that at the end of the game when you see the highlights....my towel is moving in the "photos". Also, half my "photo highlights" are of me on the ground....after the tackle.

I'm on PS3, noticed the same thing. Especially on run plays. It doesn't seem as bad on the pass plays, as it'll at least start where the quarterback releases the ball.

I have teh PS3 too, samething. Any long play and the highlight is of some guy running 20 yards in open field. Maybe it is a bug with the ps3 would be good if it were so they could fix it.

Not only that, I ran back a kickoff and the in-game replay focused on one of the blockers, running aimlessly down the field -- not the guy juking and scoring the touchdown!

My guess is that the instant replays are capped at, say, 20 seconds to cap the length users can upload highlights to their published reports online. I could see a loser bogging down the system, uploading 2-minute replays of them running around the field. But I could also be wrong.

It's done on purpose, the 15 second reply. Ill take a guess its because the first few weeks everybody is playing and uploading replays to the EAsportsworld servers and there's been some overload the last couple of years. This must be there way of fixing this, only allowing a short replay rather then a longer replay/bigger file

I dunno. im on ps3 and think the replays are great.

I definitely agree that the replays on the PS3 are way too short. Any long play is cut off near the beginning. Good runs often have great jukes or broken tackles that are never shown as all you see in the highlight is a guy running down the field AFTER the good stuff happened.

That's a shame because the NCAA 2009 was great about geting the whole play (while Madden always messed this up). I wonder what changed.

Why not just watch the replay on your own, way more control then the auto instant replay.

think they removed the dual button RB and LB thing, but you can still access replays by pushing the start button.
