I don't think EA messed up the number 7. I think Miles Jr. was planning on changing to number 7 this year. Idk if he actually was going to follow through but he was at one point wanting to change. I looked at both players ratings and it looks simply that the numbers got flipp flopped. Janzen only played free safety last year because Berry played Strong. I think Janzen plays Strong this year anyways so likely easy solution is to change the numbers around or when the named rosters come out, just change the names.
