Still very early but this is the best game this generation...but it hasn't shown anything to make it the best of the franchise. To me the benchmark was '04 and until I see/play a game as fun and polished as that game it will remain atop the list.

I think what makes this game different and threads like this pop up is the fact that we have gotten used to so many HUGE issues Day 1 with previous versions this generation that this year gives you the impression that it is perfect - give it some time and look under the hood some and you can find some issues with it.
