First of all. A major thank-you to Fairdale. I remember I had to wait a week for rosters last year (I didn't get them from Fairdale).

One thing I noticed was that Derrell Johnson-Koulianos (WR, Iowa) is simply named "Derrell Johnson" I realize EA put a character limit on player names. Last year, (again on someone else's roster) they used just Koulianos as his last name. Some people (myself included) might prefer it that way.

I already changed it within my dynasty because I want to use these excellent rosters online but since it sounds like you are already planning an update I'd prefer it if you changed it. Hopefully other Hawkeye fans agree.

Again, thanks for all your hard work.

After doing a little research I agree... and I will now change DJK to Derrell Koulianos.

Thanks so much for the rosters! I do need a little help if someone would be so kind. I have the usb drive formatted and the file downloaded. Where do I go from there to get the file on my game? I downloaded the file to the usb but i dont know how to get it to the game. Does it need to be modified in some way?

First and foremost, Thank you for the Hard work and the rosters. I cant play anything without the names of the guys so I pretty much wait to play until you are done every year. I am however an SDSU Aztecs fan and I noticed some key players were missing from the roster. Demarco Sampson, WR-Logan Ketchum, LB-Ronnie Hillman, HB and a few others here and there. What source do you use for your rosters? When was it last updated? Dont mean to sound ungrateful like some of these other guys, just thought I would let you know and see if anyone else is experiencing similar issues. Thanks again!

Version 1.0 are now available in my EA Locker.

What does this roster edit include?
This roster includes the DEFAULT rosters named as EA intended the rosters to be "out of the box." This roster file is perfect for ONLINE games or if you DO NOT like any tampering with your roster file.

Did you change player ratings?
Not ONE player rating was altered.

Did you make any updates to the player's equipment?
No.

Did you update the incoming FRESHMEN jersey numbers?
No.

Will you have any updates?
I will have a few updates. The very first update will address any "minor" errors that I may have encountered during the process of inputting 8,100+ player names. In the near future I hope to have another update that will include correcting jersey numbers, player's class and their skin color.

I may also remove some players that are no longer on the teams and add some players that have transferred to new teams. Off the top of my head that would include Seantrelle Henderson to Miami, DJ Shoemate to UConn, and Demar Dorsey & Jordan Campbell to Louisville.

If anyone wants to mail me a memory card I will transfer the rosters to memory cards, too. Just send it to:

Hey, Seantrel Henderson isn't in the game it seems. I haven't had a chance to download your roster yet, so I don't know if you made him the #77 on USC. But it appears that is RS Freshman Kevin Graf (http://usc.rivals.com/cviewplayer.asp?Player=420983) based on height, weight, and race. Just letting you know, so if you add Seantrel to The U roster, he'll have to be created.

Also for any Miami fans that care, I'll be updating the city, state, number, and equipment for each player on Miami's roster based on Fairdale's rosters. I'll be doing this tonight (Friday) and making them available to Canes fans within the community.

I have all the numbers for all the incoming freshman except for Latwan Anderson.

EA left a lot of good players off of the default rosters. This was not just a problem with the Aztecs' roster or just because they were non-BCS teams.

* Eastern Michigan's secondary was jacked up. Louisville transfer Latarius Thomas is not here.

* Former Miami QB Robert Marve is not on Purdue.

* Louisville is missing two starters: OT Jeff Adams and OLB Dexter Heyman

* Emmanuel Acho is missing from Texas


From my experience with the rosters most of the height/weight can be found on the ESPN 2009 rosters. They also use the spring rosters, too. Finally, most freshmen can be matched-up using Rivals.com

Fairdale, thanks for all your hard work, I really appreciate it as Im in the group of people who doesnt particularly care for other people adjusting ratings on rosters, I just need the names, so these are great. One thing I noticed, for the next version, on UNC roster, you have TJ Leifheit twice, both as a DT and and OL. The DT version should be changed to Jared McAdoo, I already took care of this on mine so Im all good, but just wanted to give you a heads up for the potential next version. Great work and thanks again
