I mean we BOTH know that we shouldn't compare Dirk's and Lamar's outside games. That would be silly.
My impression of Lamar Odom is that the guy very often lacks effort and like others said is inconsistent as hell. To me he has his own shell on the hardwood that he doesn't want to get out of because he feels comfortable in it.
