celebrate with the mascot?

So I've played a couple exhibition and ranked online games now and I notice above the score graphic a thing that says go clebrate with the mascot after some TD plays. My question is can one actually do this and if so, how. I think it'd be pretty cool to see. kinda reminicent of the big blue squares n madden 10 i think it was...

You have to run over to the mascot, and most of the time he's on the other side of the endzone(very convenient, I know)

Yeah, this is how you do it. And believe me, its no where as cool as it sounds.

There are 3 different places you can find the mascot. Left side, right side, or behind, slightly left of the goal post.

What is convenient is that a mascot remains in the same spot for the entire quarter (he tends to change on a quarter by quarter basis, as in real life, actually, and he's not always on your end of the field).

So if you take a peek at the end zone before you snap the ball, you can maybe see where your mascot is, and then either try to score near him, or just know where he is...

It's worth noting that if you are tackled (or dive) into the endzone, you will not be able to go celebrate with the mascot. Also if you run into one of your teammates, you'll initiate a celebration with them, rather than being able to run to the mascot.

Yeah, this is how you do it. And believe me, its no where as cool as it sounds.

Some of them have unique celebrations. I think the Tennessee mascot (a dog) will do dog tricks like roll-over, etc. Oklahoma State mascot will play-duel the player. Also, celebrating with the mascot is the only way to get your player do to the Heisman pose.

anyone find it bizarre we've had these same mascot animation for what 3, 4 titles now. Come on NCAA get some new mocap for the mascots
