To advance in online dynasty?? I am playing alone in an online dynasty and I did my recruiting and simmed my game, why do I have to wait 20 minutes?

I Imagine there was a huge load on the dynasty server, so to help alleviate the load they made a delay on the updating of the dynasties.

So you think it may be temporary? If it is going to take 40 minutes just to get through players leaving and transfer requests every off-season that's going to be a beating.

i REALLY hope they fix this with a patch ... talk about a momentum killer. we're waiting 18 more minutes as I type this. We wanted to make it through the whole offseason in less than an hour but now it's going to take SEVERAL hours. WTF EA?

our OD will not make it very long with this BS ....

Same here. We are trying to get this off season done tonight but it looks like it's not going to happen.

They won't fix it because that's the way it is. Online franchise in Madden was 30 minutes between weekly advances.

The idea behind the delay is to keep commishs from blazing through a season when people aren't around.

Then there should be an option to turn it off if it is a private, 1 person dynasty.

I have been doing the offseason tonight and I had to wait 20 minutes between: players leaving, transfers, 5 recruiting weeks, signing day, position changes. That is 3 hours of waiting! It is a total joke.

I'm assuming I'll have to wait 20 minutes each to redshirt and do depth charts.

If I could convert my dynasty to offline I would, but EA removed that option. I don't want to start a new season because I don't want to throw away all the work/results.

EA, please give us an option to remove the 20 minute wait in private dynasties.

In the game if you read the EA news section it says the 20 min delay is just temporary.

I had the exact same complaints. It turns out that this is intentional. According to another poster, EA posted a message on the news link stating that they had to do this to help the servers. The message stated that over time that the delay will be reduced or removed.

Unfortunately, for right now, it just makes it not worth it. So I am sticking to offline dynasty. Not to mention, even when there is no delay, it is incredibly laggy (I do have a high speed cable connection). I was looking forward to using the dynasty wire but I guess it can wait.

This seems pretty inexcusable to me. If the servers are slow or overloaded, it means one of two things: either EA underestimated the amount of server capacity it needed for this game, or it lacks the necessary resources to provide adequate server capacity. The idea that a multi-billion dollar gaming company would have either problem on a popular game that they publish every year is laughable, especially where last year's game also had online dynasty so they could have used that as an example.

This is a real problem, particularly in the offseason (where the waiting will take you longer than the actual playing tasks); this needs to be fixed quickly.

It is unplayable for me. I stopped my dynasty and started a new one offline. I'll miss dynasty wire but I can do a blog I guess.

What a freaking disaster. Did no one at EA do the math? It shouldn't 3 hours just to advance through the off-season, let alone the time it takes to recruit. Waiting 40 minutes just to see players leaving and transfer requests is a HUGE beating.

Take all that DLC money and buy some more servers EA.

I also switced over to an OFFLINE dynasty, which can't be converted this year, so I guess it's one full wasted season for me. I guess I'll use it as a 'pratice season'.
