Re: My Husker Ratings Edits
Yeah I was holding out hope that Chase Harper would still qualify, I hadn't heard that the decision was already made that he wouldn't. I changed it too.Comment

Re: My Husker Ratings Edits
I want to add a player with a duplicate number. Using create a player you can do this. Who is more valuable right now Will Henry, Lance Thorell, or Andrew Green. Usually I like the players on offense to have the correct numbers. Any thoughts?Comment

Re: My Husker Ratings Edits
Green will have more long term, Thorrell probably won't play a whole lot, Henry could this year, but I doubt it.
I have finished my 70 man Husker Roster with ratings, I will type it up and put it here later.Comment

Re: My Husker Ratings Edits
No reason to keep Thorell on the roster. Henery might play a lil bit but you never know with Gilmore. Green should definately be on the roster... Although CG & him have dup #'sPSN: Somo23P
Nebraska Cornhuskers
Washington Redskins
Miami HeatComment

Re: My Husker Ratings Edits
Holt started at Dime LB in 2008 before his injury for 2 games and may do so this year.

In case you can't afford a membership, here's a quote:
"Early take: Like May, Holt's progress was halted due to a shoulder injury that forced him to miss the majority of last season. Also like May, he has the potential to play a big role on Nebraska's defense this year because of his speed.
In particular, Holt could be the lone linebacker in the Huskers' dime package like he was for two Big 12 starts as a true freshman in 2008 before suffering his first season-ending shoulder injury."Predictions:
Nebraska Football: 12-2 (Big Ten Runner-Up & Capitol One Bowl Champions)
Kansas City Chiefs: 10-6 (1st in AFC West)Comment

Our depth at LB in 2008 was a lot worse off than it is this year. Compton, Martin and May will all be ahead of Holt in the dime package. That, and I could see Hagg sliding over and playing LB in the Dime before seeing Holt out there.Comment

Re: My Husker Ratings Edits
People won't like it, but Fisher will head into fall camp as our dime LB, and Compton will be close behind. Those are the only 2 that I see playing in the dime packages.
As far as the LB's go, It's Compton and Fisher at the ones, Whaley and Martin are probably 2nd string at this point with David probably unseating Martin within the first 2-3 weeks.
May, Stoddard and Holt will play a lot of special teams, but that's about it.
Eric Martin is Rickey Thenarse at LB, he'll always be a fan favorite, but will be mostly a special teams stud unless they redshirt him a year to get him out of the sophomore LB group.Comment

Re: My Husker Ratings Edits
Dime Linebacker takes on a very different set of responsibilities from other 4-3 sets. I know the coaching staff wants to rotate in as much fresh talent as they can to keep the defense strong, so I'm still firm in my belief that Holt will see time at Dime Linebacker.
As for May and Martin, don't count them out. Fisher and Compton will head in at 1-2 but just as with the rest of the defense (except for Amukamara) there'll be a constant rotation of fresh faces.
It'll be tough for Stoddard, Whaley, David and Kreikemeier to see the field much this year though. Still, I've got a good feeling about Whaley after seeing him at the Red-White Game. Let's move this one over the Football Talk Thread though fellas, I'd love to talk this all day. (http://www.operationsports.com/forum...rnhuskers.html)
For the sake of NCAA 11, the linebacking crew is in great shape with a few edits. Formation subs make this crew very fun to play with.
ALSO: For now it appears as though JuCo TE Chase Harper won't qualify for school in the fall. Make sure you take his player and transform him into another favorite Husker you have on the squad. Possibly another Wideout or DB (Lazarri Middleton or Dijon Washington)
HB Braylon Heard is fighting an uphill battle for qualifying for admission as well. It's more likely than not that he won't be with the team this season.Predictions:
Nebraska Football: 12-2 (Big Ten Runner-Up & Capitol One Bowl Champions)
Kansas City Chiefs: 10-6 (1st in AFC West)Comment

Re: My Husker Ratings Edits
I seriously doubt Holt gets that much playing time this compared to our other linebackers. I believe that Fisher and Compton will both be much improved this year. Martin is the Thenarse at LB but hopefully he can remember his assignments a little better.
P.S. On a side not is is possible for someone to put this roster on here for download for my USB. My internet sucks and I cant download them from my PS3. Thanks!! Go skersComment
