    OSFC-Brickyard 400

So much was missed from Chicagoland and Carl Edwards made sure we'd remember Gateway as well. Did you miss it? No matter we're back for the stretch run to the Chase and to crown a new OSFC champion.

In case you missed it Reutty won at Chicagoland, and he didnt need a rain stoppage to do it. Amazingly no one took the 1st two finishers, so Bob wound up taking the most points at Chicagoland.

Burghfan is still at the top of the standings, but a battle for 7th is getting real interesting, with james, manny, joshuar, and myself, separated by 12 points.

This week Nascar heads to the Hoosier state for the always exciting Brickyard 400. Will the race be run in more than 10 laps interval this year? Will Juan Pablo Montoya abide by the speed limits this year? Will Jimmie Johnson win the Brickyard again? Will ESPN be better than TNT? (Yes they will)

In a side note Dawg Pound was banned, so he's more than likely gone for the foreseeable future.

I'm gonna borrow this from Mike,

Pick the amount of cars based on the place you are picking, if you pick 2nd pick 2 cars, 5th 5 cars, and so on.

Place the driver who you want the most at the top, 2nd most 2nd, and so on until you fill the list based on how many you need.

As I gather the list I will mark off cars from your list that have been taken. I will then take the driver who is highest on your list, that is left.

Please send me a PM with your picks. We are all members here at OS, and it's much easier to deal with it all in one place.

If I mess up, please let me know ASAP.

Please don't submit your picks on this thread, unless you want everyone in front of you to know who you really want.

Finally, don't forget to have fun

It's because the smiley code is 10 characters.

I think you are right BurghFan. I have not been on much lately. I just checked out the new TOS (as of 7/11) and read about the 10 character limit for posts. Maybe the mods in our league can let Millennium know, if it is not already common knowledge.

                    It's true, and cool.

Try quoting that post again and using the same smiley. Then take away one character from the smiley code and preview the post. It will tell you your message is too short and won't let you preview. The forum software only knows that you put 10 characters in, not that you're using a smiley (I think).

You are indeed correct, good sir. I just counted the characters that actually make the smiley face. Sorry about the side convo guys. For some reason I found this interesting. I'm obsessed with how things work.

Man...I just about posted how crazy it was that nobody got their picks in on time for Friday morning, because I didn't realize it's still Thursday.

Heh, I've done the same thing as far as being convinced it was the day after or day before the day it actually was.

Anyway, I'll take NASCAR's newest bad boy #99 Carl Edwards. Hopefully he and Keselowski can stay out of each others way.
