Issue with Pipeline States in my OD

I'm doing an OD with Rutgers, and at the beginning of this first season it does not have New Jersey or New York as pipeline states on my map.

I created an offline dynasty with Rutgers just to see how that would compare, and in that dynasty it does have New Jersey and New York as pipeline states....

This could really screw me over in my OD. Anybody else have this issue or have a guess of what might have caused this?

And just to clarify, I'm still in the "preseason," so I'm really hoping it will somehow correct itself when we advance to week 1 and will give me the bonus points for making a pitch to recruits in pipeline states...

If it isn't corrected when we advance to week one it will hurt me pretty bad (I have several 4 star prospects at positions of need from NJ and could really use the pipeline bonus points.)

Just advanced to week 1 and, as I had feared... I get no pipeline bonus for recruiting players from NJ and NY (even though they CLEARLY should be a pipeline state... like half of my team comes from those two states.) Has nobody else had a problem with this?

I did a Teambuilder team on OD also. My team was located in NC. My pipeline states are Wisconsin, Minnesota and West Virginia.

Just from reading posts on OS, it seems like pipelines for Teambuilder teams are random, more precisely the hometowns of your initial group of players.

Pipeline states are entirely based on the homestates of the players on your roster. Any state with 3+ players on your roster will be a pipeline state. It's not that hard to set up any state you want as a pipeline through just one season unless you're a really bad team.

If the pipeline states are different from Online and Offline dynasty, the only reason I can think of would be because of rosters.

I suspect it has do to with their DLC. They want people to pay for adding pipeline states to their OD.

I know that, but I'm not using a teambuilder team... I'm using Rutgers and I dont even have NJ as a pipeline state. I've started SEVERAL offline dynastys w/ Rutgers w/ the same roster to see if the same thing happens, but it doesn't... just in my OD. It is so aggravating that a couple of the other guys in my OD have teams that have NJ as a pipeline and will have an advantage over me recruiting there even though IT IS MY HOME STATE!

From what I understand on the pipelines...
1. If Teambuilder, you get what the team you replicate has (i.e. if you have Alabama as a model and then assigned new names, you get Alabama's pipelines...etc...
2. With in-game teams, it is based on their initial hometowns. Check your roster for home towns and adjust to get NY/NJ like it should be. I thought it was 4+ from each state but maybe that is just being safe.
3. If that does not work, I got nothing...

3 questions
1. How many recruits do you have to sign to make a state part of your pipeline?
2. What determines you pipeline bouse when recruiting?
3 .Can you lose a pipeline state? (ie if you do not recruit enought from that state)

I'm doing a rutgers dynasty too. Haven't noticed this though. I will check later and let you know. I pretty much just recruit anybody around the tri state and a little further down south. I did try recruiting a 4 star MLB but didn't see him under the players that were from NJ. I don't know if that's what your talking about. Ajwhawkeye12, what made you pick Rutgers anyway?

I have this problem also.

I playing Utah (not teambuilder) in a 10 team online dynasty.

My "pipeline" states are Utah, Cali, and.... Tennessee.
(12 people are from Texas and 0 from Tenn).

The bigger issue is, the pipeline map doesn't matter as I don't receive any pipeline bonuses in Utah or Cali anyways.

This is a glitch and a big one.
