What's odd to me is that ncaa was ranked 2nd behind Madden @ the E3 this year...you think EA held back the final mix of ncaa until close to release to hype Madden? Because if you're saying Madden 11 is better than ncaa 11...this I've got to see to believe! NCAA's graphics alone are jaw dropping insane, camera angles are outstanding, and I'm talking demo, not the USC Pen State vids!! I've watched those videos at least 5 times, I've lost count of how many times I've played the demo, and Madden 10 is off my radar, I just traded in to payoff both NCAA & Madden 11. Of course if Madden 11 sucks, I'm taking it back. But as we all know EA has stuck us b4, so I'm not getting to hyped about Madden 11, but come Tuesday,,,can't wait!

Only a 9? I thought for sure it would be a 10, since the review said NCAA 10 was a failure and yet it got a 8 from OS.

1 point doesnt seam that much better to me. Is it really that much better?

I guess it got a better score then the show, so it must at least be better then that game.

So if NCAA received a 9, that means it is = to Madden 10 that received a 9?

And with Madden 11's upgrades, it has to be better then Madden 10, so therefore its going to be better then NCAA this year as well.(which got a 9 here as well)

Interesting findings, but something just isnt adding up here

The "not-adding up" is due to different people reviewing different games. You can't really compare scores that way as different writers see different things. OS is not just one monolithic voice that determines how good a game is compared to other games.

I'm very glad that NCAA Football is going to be a better game this year. '08 &'09 haven't been the best games, but like you said they were the only college football games out.

Auto-Turbo does not belong in Football or Basketball Games..It is fine in Hockey and Baseball, but ther are TOO MANY stages of speed in BB and FB to use this in a successful way...What is next, Auto-Passing??(ok, i know madden had that last year, which was basically how you played coach mode).....turbo buttons are fine...just assign realistic fatigue factors, something they have never really done..i am glad they slowed down NCAA..it was going to be too weird going between Madden's slower style and NCAA's methamphetamine gameplay from last year..i mean WOW!that ball would go across the screen like a bullet when you threw a pass!!!!!

Is it me or do the graphics seem to dark in this game? I thought graphically, NCAA 10 was perfect. Other then that issue I love the game.

Great review, and actually convinced me to give this title a try this year after a 4 year hiatus from EA NCAA altogether.

decided not to wait untill Madden ( i took advantage of gamestops trade in offer) picked it up today. havent' jumped too far yet but, plays great.

I've gotta say, I'm really enjoying NCAA 11. Of course it's not perfect but I've been pleasantly surprised. The only thing is and I don't know if it's my copy but I get this choppy stutter a couple times right before the snap. It's like a hiccup right before the action. Anyone else experiencing this? (360)

I was very upset with the series this year. I dont know how you can make such progress from Madden 09 to Madden 10, but not between NCAA 10 to NCAA 11! RTG is oh so very boring and the only reason people play this game is so the players can finish the achievements/trophies! Other than that, the online is amazing in the game because of the connection.

Definitely a great game. Road to glory really needs an overhaul though.
