Graduation of senior players I think. Basically not letting players transfer or leave early....

but i rarely ever have a player transfer or even go pro, but im still a C. i started out a B+ i think

You recruit players with high awareness like players with C and C+ awareness. I think maybe even D+ awareness will help. You do this for a couple of years and your academic prestige will go up. You can't really do anything about players leaving early. You can try to talk them into staying but if they want to go they're gonna go. Once you get "known" for having high "awareness/academics" standards your academic prestige will go up. Warning: it will be very hard to find good talent AND build up your academic prestige at the same time. You have to be very picky who you give schollies to. That means maybe passing on some top notch talent because their awareness isn't high enough.
