The Pistons Game for the Challenge is Game 3 which was in Chicago. I think they included that game because almost all of the Challenges have the Bulls on the road. Suffice to say, I think there's a high chance the Silverdome will not be in the game.

Another weird thing is that the Bulls LOST that Game 3 when Jordan had 47. But the goal in the Challenge is to WIN the game, lol. 2K needs to polish up on their history.

My brother and I are going to have some classic online battles with bulls vs Knicks! After that I will take pleasure in beating down the big 3 in Miami. I wonder if 2k knew lebron's decision and had to find a way to make online playable :-)

Marketing Jordan will work on the casual fans, who are the large customer base for 2K, but it isn't working for me. Classic teams, different era Jordans just seem like one big marketing ploy that will make the game remain stagnant.

OS users have been creating classic teams, players and in the case of PC gamers, jerseys and stadiums as well. What 2K is doing all bull ****, in my opinion.

Haha. The one's that have been clamoring for classic teams the most are the hardcore basketball fans! You really think it's casual fans that want Anthony Mason and Vinnie Johnson included in the game? It's all of the 25-40 yr old basketball die-hards. How is including a classic teams mode hurting the overall game. There are a TON of new announcements planned about gameplay.

There is a reason they didn't even mention historic teams in the trailer, because the people that matter wouldn't really care for them. All they want is Jordan.

              94-95 Knicks? I'll take it.

Hopefully 2K has the defense to replicate them.

Woulda been cool to see early 90s Knicks. That's when the rivalry was at its best.

Well, we do have the Bad Boy Pistons in. So you can play with the only team to have a winning playoff record against Jordan and the Bulls.

Knicks fans HAD to appreciate those Pistons teams. Pat Riley brought the bad boy blue print to NY with him for goodness sake.

I would say they weren't short shorts, they were definitely above the knee. Now Magic and Larry of the 80's wore short tight shorts. In the early and mid 90's they where loose fit but still short, because you could always see there compression shorts underneath.

Too bad the Knicks didn't have as much talent. Those Knick teams were some of the most overachieving in NBA history.

this is really amazing the more i think about it. Getting accurate rosters and everything from these teams when the NBA was at its best. It was great playing games like NBA Live 95 and games around those days but now its going to be better because you're getting next gen graphics, gameplay and presentation with those old teams.

EA would really put it over the top if they did what NBA Action (95 i think) did with Rodman and NBA In the Zone for PS did with Rodman, where they changed his hair color every game. NBA In the Zone was great with that, they had the Red hair with the black bulls logo in there. But if NBA 2k did the same thing then wow. I know its more about Jordan but getting guys like Isiah, Rodman, Pippen, Bird, Worthy, Payton, Kemp, Malone, Stockton all accurate would just destroy anything else.

I feel sorry for that other company that is trying to change the name to stay relevent because 2k just outshined all basketball games by getting Air Jordan in there. I saw someone say who cares if the gameplay sucks. Well the gameplay has been great the past few years, yes it can be better but if they improve upon what they have there is no reason to think it wont be great.

I'm not a big Jordan fan but having my Bad Boys in the game makes this a must buy for me.

Being that 2K is actually using the word Bad Boys, I hope there are a lot of hard foul animations. I don't know why they picked Game 3 though. It would have been cool to have the game in Detroit and see fans waving 'The Bad Boys' flag in the Silverdome, have the crowds constantly boo'ing Jordan. It would really help create that feeling of animosity in the challenge. Plus Jordan lost Game 3.

No offense, but Jordan lost that 63 point outburst against Boston, too. So what if they want to re-create a classic game that he lost? I can tell you some classic UNC vs Duke games that UNC lost. "Classic" doesn't mean your team won a good game. "Classic" means...well, classic.

Don't wanna sound like a jerk, but I question the knowledge of some of the posters about MJ. People forget he lost the 63 point game vs Boston and people think "The Shot" was in that 69 point game vs Cleveland.

Yeah, he lost the Celtic game. But that's the reason it's one of the few games that doesn't have a goal to win. You just need to hit your pt and fg % goal. 2K says " Jordan showed the Pistons and the world that no defensive strategy could stop him for long." But they lost that series. Plus, now there's no Silverdome in the game because Game 3 was in Chicago.
