Will you use the Gameflow feature?
The Madden demo is right around the corner. A couple of OS staff members had a nice piece today about the demo and it seemed that the Gameflow addition may nor may not be well recieved. EA put a lot of development time into this feature. So the questions is will you use it? Or should they have focused on something else?99Yes, I am definately looking forward to creating my own gameplan.0%30No, I like selecting my play on the fly utilizing the entire playbook.0%30I will probably give it a try and see if I like it.0%37Undecided. I don't know if I will try it or not.0%2Tags: None -
Re: Will you use the Gameflow feature?
Seems kinda obvious.....since everyone is always complaining about "realism" in football games, why wouldn't you use it? It's how the pros run plays in games on Sunday. The coaches don't sit on the sidelines with a book of 350-500 plays to choose from and flip through it during the game. They create a game plan, execute it and adjust on the fly if needed. That's realistic. Yes, yes, yes!NFL - Pittsburgh Steelers
CFB - Miami Hurricanes
MLB - NY Yankees
NBA - Los Angeles Lakers
CBB - NC Tarheels
Bundesliga - FC Bayern Munich
MLS - Seattle Sounders -
Re: Will you use the Gameflow feature?
From the Madden roundtable thread:
"if you are a veteran of the series, I have a feeling you are going to hate the amount of control that the feature takes out of your hands -- even if you decide to implement a gameplan. "
If this is true I'll probably not use gameflow.Comment

Re: Will you use the Gameflow feature?
Are you being serious right here or sarcastic? That's EXACTLY what the devs claim you can do in Madden 11.
The OP's question can be easily misunderstood, IMO. Gameplan and Gameflow are not the same thing. You can set up a Gameplan and select plays just from your scripted set of plays without using Gameflow. Gameflow just means your offensive coordinator(CPU) selects the play from the loaded Gameplan.
I plan on using created Gameplans for my team and CPU controlled teams in my offline franchise. However, I will most likely be selected plays from my Gameplan online and off with my team, not Gameflow.Comment

Re: Will you use the Gameflow feature?
I'm going to try hard to like it. Madden just takes to long to play for me so I hope Gameflow is the answer for us who don't have hours and hours a day for games.Gamertag and PSN Mrclutch1013

Re: Will you use the Gameflow feature?
Honestly, who really uses their entire playbook anyway. When I go into a game I usually have 30-35 plays that Im going to use depending on my opponent. There are some plays that I don't even touch...
To me this seems like a feature thats convient to casual gamers or those who don't like or don't know how to call their own plays...Comment
