Extra Challenge - Beat the 72-10 Bulls

Will anyone be trying to beat the 96 Bulls in Association or otherwise?

I hope 2K11 has added a "Jordan" attribute, where a player can single handedly will his way to win a game. We all witnessed how Jordan did this every night, so I'm expecting a serious challenge beating the 96' Bulls. I'm hoping Jordan constantly asks for the ball and attempts as many shots as he did back then. Especially when the team falls behind in the 4th.

Maybe implement a prize for beating them in the Finals. Unlock Earl Manigult

Also, Dwayne, LeBron and Bosh got nothing on Rodman, Pippen and MJ!

No, Dwyane Lebron and Bosh got nothing on MJ only! Rodman was a rebounder only! Pippen was good too.If someone used the heat against them in 2k11, the bulls would get blown out into another dimension!

The stars of a team that won 72 out of 82 games would get blown out by the stars of a team that are famous for being famous? Okay...

Let's wait and see first how the Heat play together. They haven't even played one game and people already say they're the best team ever.

I think Dwayne, LeBron and Bosh got nothing on a some angry Cavs fans with baseball bats.

Pippen was good? He's amongst the top 10 players in NBA history, great offensive and defensive player, even guarding quicker, taller and stronger opponents...Rodman just a rebounder? One of the great defenders of all time.

Even old school non-superstars like Jerome Kersey or Charles Oakley would certainly give Queen James a hard time.

Would not put Pippen in the top 10.

Pippen is among the 50 best players...at least according to 1997. Top 10? LOL, not even close. But, of course, it's a matter of opinion.

Really? Last time I checked Dwayne, Lebron and Bosh had horrible man-to-man defense discipline.

The 72-10 bulls were probably the greatest defensive squad ever.

Calling Scottie Pippen top 10 all time is absurd. He was great but no top 10 player of all time should be merely a sidekick. Pippen's career numbers: 16.1 points, 6.4 rebounds, 5.2 assists and two steals. Solid numbers but top 10 all time? How can you call him great but LeBron "Queen James." I don't remember Pippen winning squat without Jordan. All I remember of the Jordan-less Pippen era was Scottie acting like a brat when Kukoc's number was called at the end of that playoff game.

Those Bulls teams were great -- arguably the greatest ever -- but remember there were some pretty great dynasties before Jordan (I know that's impossible for some to imagine.)

Heat could beat them, I'm not 100% sure about this but didn't the Raptors beat the Bulls this year led by Damon Stoudemire who outplayed MJ in that game? (Correct me if I'm wrong)

And? An NBA team can beat an NBA team. The Heat could beat the '96 Bulls...but not in a series. That's what counts.

Yes, the Raptors did in fact beat the Bulls in 1996. I also have this feeling the Nuggets took them out as well. It's readily apparent that no team is invincible. By definition, that's what an upset is in sports. So really, any NBA team could defeat another NBA team but the chances of this happening tends to vary depending on how skilled one team is in comparison to the other.

Another poster in our forum was goofing around and posted highlights from the Raptors/Bulls game that year as a means to support his bid to get the '96 Raptors added. So, I guess I'll send that video right down the line, if you're interested to see how things worked out in that game:

Well I judge players based on their prime, not based on their career overalls...would add a Washington wizard Jordan Challenge? No way right , the same as I don't count Magic's brief comeback in 96 to the Lakers... I don't take into account post prime for Pip: Trail Blazer years. Plus it's just my opinion, maybe overrated but certainly it's not absurd...Plus I don't remember Lebron winning anything besides individual awards

Wow VDusen--impressive. I remember watching that Bulls @ Nuggets game. I believe the Nuggets were up by 34 or something, and the Bulls made an unbelievable comeback but fell short. Would've been one of the greatest comeback-wins I ever saw if the outcome was different.
