Besides the obvious fact that he plays for North Texas, and you're probably playing on too low of a difficulty, you could at least tell us where he finished in the Heisman voting and the stats (and teams, and W/L) of the players who finished above him.

UNT = University of North Texas?

Makes sense if it is North Texas. They're athletic facilities aren't that great so 3 points is fine to me. And I doubt you won the national championship or were in the talk about it so the Heisman shouldn't be considered. Only top players from top schools will be in the talks unless you're freshman puts up those numbers again and again.

Ryan Mathews of Fresno State had 1808 yards, 6.6 yards per carry, 19 touchdowns.
Dion Lewis of Pitt had 1799 yards, 5.5 yards per carry, 17 touchdowns.
Mark Ingram of Alabama had 1658 yards, 6.1 yards per carry, 17 touchdowns, and won the Heisman.

Maybe up the difficulty? You played every game or did you sim?

Being from North Texas and putting up numbers like that definitely wouldnt win the heisman....They dont play anyone worth a damn.

Played LSU 2 years ago, Bama last year, and have Clemson and K-State this year.

Not spectacular... but stop acting like we're playing Div AA.

                And OP, up the difficulty.

Our leading rusher last year came close to your YPC:
Lance Dunbar: 1378 Rushing Yards 6.9 YPC 17 TD

Has anybody noticed that the computer uses their TE's more than their top receivers? I've at lease seen it by each of the TB teams, they were all of the top receivers by far. I've seen numerous TE's in the heisman race through the simmed years too.

It's probably about ranked teams, and who your comp was. Here's the thing, if you do that against top teams (and win those games) then there would be no reason he would not be considered.

If you play FCS West each week (and I know you didn't but just making the point), then your stats don't matter.

I assume Todd Dodge kept his job after a season like that.

                        BTW-

If you're not happy with a player's increase after training just remember to SAVE before doing off-season training.

Click on "Continue to Off-Season Training" or whatever it says and if you don't like how your players improved, just load again and try over.

There's no rhyme or reason to progression, it's just a random dice roll it seems. No matter the player rating, playing time, or performance. I played with this and EJ Manuel went up 1, then 6, then 4, then 1, then 2....etc.

Kinda wish performance, recruiting rating, and coach prestige had SOMETHING to do with it.

Todd Dodge needs to be fired before the new stadium is set.

I ran for 2350yds/31TD yards with Dion Lewis on Heisman.

My team finished the season ranked #2.

                            Still didn't win the Heisman.

Remember when the Heisman actually went to the best player, and not the most hyped player on a top 5 team? When guys could win the award more as recognition for having four awesome seasons and less for being the starting QB or HB on a title contender? Guys like Gerhart last year and Larry Fitzgerald a few years before that were just absolutely robbed when it comes to the HYPESman trophy.
