finally, stadium music. this is going to be sweet. My score for Madden 13: 4.5/10
3 points for graphics, 1 point for the passable commentary, and a half point for the boxart. I can give no further points since the all over the place gameplay would ruin it anyway. -

Thrilled about the Packers stuff.
But it sounds like I'll be using my own music when I'm at the menus. I'm so sick of classic rock. It's all the people at work listen to.Member: OS Uni Snob Association | Twitter: @MyNameIsJesseG | #WT4M | #WatchTheWorldBurn

That is a nice list, but I wish Trick Daddy's "Lets Go" would've made the cut.Comment

ummmm well how about allow for users to upload their own snippets like in NCAA.....wow who would a thunk it!!!!!! How were they able to get these other songs that are far more costly to license than shout? Do you have a link of them not being able to get that particular song licensed, because I'm not buying it. It is hilarious they put in "Miami Dolphins # 1" fight song...hands down the gayest fight song in history.Last edited by SpielmanGilchrist; 07-27-2010, 01:11 AM.Comment

Re: Madden NFL 11 Soundtrack and Team Fight Songs Announced
As long as they keep the rap away I'll be okay. Which brings me to this, when is Madden going to finally let us have custom sound tracks? It seems as if Madden is the only game on the planet that does not have custom sound track capability. Why?Comment

Welcome to the Jungle is the most overplayed song ever I believe. It seems like it is a last resort song for movie trailers, commercials, etc.Comment

Re: Madden NFL 11 Soundtrack and Team Fight Songs Announced
Not really. The lyrics and tempo make Welcome to the Jungle a perfect stadium anthem. Between that and Thunderstruck I don't know which is my favorite. I'm probably going to lean towards Thunderstruck, because afterall, it is AC/DC, and I love the tempo, rythem, and base in that song. No other song was able to pump me up more before a football game then that one. It was always played in the locker room , over the PA durring warmups, and after we scored.Comment

I just think it is way over played. I hear it about 3 times a day on the radio, almost 2 times a week on tv. Its as if producers/editors and what not get lazy to find something new that nobody has heard, so they just throw in some guns and roses because they assume everybody loves them.Comment

Most older hits are like that. Take Queen for instance and their "We Will Rock You." Leonard Skynard's "Sweet Home Alabama." AC/DC's "Highway to Hell." Green Day's "Good Riddance (Time of Your Life).*" Metallica's "Enter Sandman." Plus many more.I just think it is way over played. *Seems to be in every program's season or serries finale. Which is kind of funny cause the songs true meaning is the exact opposite of what most people translate it to mean.Last edited by GreenReign86; 07-27-2010, 02:03 AM.Comment

Good Riddance isn't even Green Day's most overplayed song. If I hear Boulevard Of Broken Dreams again I'm going to puke.
And I like Green Day.Member: OS Uni Snob Association | Twitter: @MyNameIsJesseG | #WT4M | #WatchTheWorldBurn

Re: Madden NFL 11 Soundtrack and Team Fight Songs Announced
I was talking about older songs. But yeah, that and "Wake Me up When September Ends." Tend to be overplayed. But Wake Me Up When September Ends, is probably my favorite song on American Idiot. Mainly because it has strong lyrics, and a deep meaning behind them, but most GD songs are like that, just that one seems to reasonate with me. So I'm willing to live with it being overplayed from time to time.Comment

Re: Madden NFL 11 Soundtrack and Team Fight Songs Announced
I don't want to work
I want to bang on the drum all day
I don't want to play
I just want to bang on the drum all day
Ever since I was a tiny boy
I don't want no candy
I don't need no toy
I took a stick and an old coffee can
I bang on that thing 'til I got
Blisters on my hand because
When I get older they think I'm a fool
The teacher told me I should stay after school
She caught me pounding on the desk with my hands
But my licks was so hot
I made the teacher wanna dance
And that's why
Listen to this
Every day when I get home from work
I feel so frustrated
The boss is a jerk
And I get my sticks and go out to the shed
And I pound on that drum like it was the boss's head
Because
I can bang that drum
Hey, you wanna take a bang at it?
I can do this all day
Very thrilled to see that song and hope to hear it many times both in the game and in real life. Go Pack go!Comment

Re: Madden NFL 11 Soundtrack and Team Fight Songs Announced
This soundtrack needs more hip hop. But including Ozzy and Blur make it alright. But that Ying Yang Twins song is gonna be my most played by far.My Teams:
NCAA FB-Oregon Ducks
NCAA BB-Gonzaga Bulldogs
NBA-Portland Trail Blazers
NFL-Carolina Panthers
MLB-San Francisco Giants
NHL-Los Angeles Kings
Won't change this signature until Oregon wins a national championship (started 3/10/10)
