NHL 10/11 - Vintage Rosters
Hi guys/gals, one of the great things about these games is the ability to simulate games from the past. I am trying to create full vintage roster files, meaning all teams for 1987 for example. It seems the PS3 has a created player limit of about 8 teams * 20 players= 160 created players, obviously a limit of 21 * 23 = 483 would be required. I was hoping someone knew of a way to either hack the roster files, or do something within the game to open up or edit existing players to make this possible on 1 file. Right now I have created 2 roster files (1east, 1 west) with all 8 playoff teams for the 1987,1990 and 1991 seasons. If anyone wants these I can post, but was hopnig there was a way to get all players on one roster file for each year.Tags: None -

OK are you ready? Here they are!
Sorry for the delay guys, been really busy lately. The 3 files below contain the following rosters:
1987 - 3 roster files -
1.Final 8 playoff teams: DET,EDM,MTL,NYI,PHI,QUE+,TOR,WPG*.
2.8 Wales playoff teams: BOS,HFD**,MTL,NYI,NYR,PHI,QUE+,WSH.
3.8 Campbell playoff teams: CGY,CHI,DET,EDM,LA,STL,TOR,WPG*.
1990 - 2 roster files -
1.8 Wales playoff teams: BOS,BUF,HFD**,MTL,NJ,NYI,NYR,WSH.
2.8 Campbell playoff teams: CGY,CHI,EDM,LA,MIN++,STL,TOR,WPG*.
1991 - 2 roster files -
1.8 Wales playoff teams: BOS,BUF,HFD**,MTL,NJ,NYR,PIT,WSH.
2.8 Campbell playoff teams: CGY,CHI,DET,EDM,LA,MIN++,STL,VAN.
I am currently working on consolidation rosters for 1991 and 1990 like I did for 1987. Should have 1991 done very shortly. Sorry that Oilers Bruins rematch will have to wait a few more weeks. By the way I thoroughly enjoyed the original result! Go OILERS!!!

Sorry your having trouble opening them. They are zipped files, you should be able to unzip the file on your pc. Extract to a memory stick and then you can copy them to your ps3 off the stick.
I have completed a consolidated roster for 1991 starting on 1990 next. Haven't decided where to go from there, but thought it would be cool to do some from the 70's. Orr anyone?Comment

Re: NHL 10/11 - Vintage Rosters
That's the problem the files can't unzip. There is only one file in the zip instead of 2 or 3 and it say data has an unexpected end to the file and data is corrupt. I downloaded it 6 times and everytime got the exact same result. I really want these rosters so can someone please reup them or tell me what I am doing wrong, because usually you open the zip and the file is there and comes out no problem.Sorry your having trouble opening them. Re: NHL 10/11 - Vintage Rosters
Ok I just downloaded winzip and tried to open the files with it, and it says cannot open file it doesn't seem like a valid archive. So I don't have any other conclusions but to say the files are corrupt. Can someone please tell me something different. Thank you.Comment
